The Button for zapping eggs
Zapping Eggs is a mechanic in My Singing Monsters that is used to turn Wublin Statues, Dormant Celestials, and Vessels into Monsters. It is unlocked at level 13, when unlocking Wublin Island and the Wublins. Eggs may be zapped from any Breeding Structure on all Islands, except Seasonal Shanty and Mythical Island. Once an Egg is zapped, it cannot be retrieved or removed whatsoever.
Mechanics[]
After breeding an Egg in the Breeding Structure, instead of sending it to the Nursery to hatch, you can "Zap" the Egg into a Wublin Statue on Wublin Island, a Dormant Celestial on Celestial Island, or a Vessel on Amber Island. Whatever Monster you zap the eggs into, it usually has a time limit, starting at different times depending on its type. Wublin Statues and Dormant Celestials start their timers upon the first Egg being zapped into them, and Vessels come out in waves and must be completed before a wave is over (which is usually 28 to 35 days). In the case of Ascending a specific Celestial, the timer begins at the start of the Celestial's associated month, and ends at the end of the month. The Kayna Vessel, the Rare Wublins and the Epic Wublins do not have time limits.
Using Diamonds[]
Like with Boxing, Diamonds can also be used to fill the inventory of a Monster as a substitute for an Egg, at a varying price depending on the rarity of the Eggs. Seasonal Eggs cost the same amount of Diamonds as common eggs.

Using Wildcards[]
Wildcards (
) are a currency introduced in Version 4.1. They are produced from an unsuccessful Early Ascension attempt on a Young Celestial, or by Minor Paironormals on Paironormal Carnival. They can be used as a substitute for a zapped Egg, with the rarity of the Egg determining the Wildcard price.
Flex Eggs[]
In this example, a Rare Quad Element Monster with the Earth Element is needed.
Flex Eggs are Eggs that represent required to ascend Celestials that can be filled by multiple different eligible Monsters' Eggs based on the Flex Egg's requirements. When unlocked, these eggs can be zapped into Celestials alongside the rest of the Eggs in their inventories to perform a guaranteed ascension, which also requires the cost of Keys.
Flex Eggs have three requirements that determine which Eggs are eligible to fill them. These requirements are rarity or class (currently, only Rare and Mythical Flex Eggs exist), number of elements, and a specific, unobscured element. The design of the Egg indicates the rarity/class of Flex Egg. Currently, all Adult Celestial inventories require Rare Flex Eggs, and it is possible that Epic Flex Eggs will be required to ascend Celestials into their Elder forms. Rare Flex Eggs can use Monsters from any Class or Island as long as it meets the requirements and Zapping is possible on the Island. Adult Vhamp is currently the only Celestial to use Mythical Flex Eggs, which only accept Common Mythical Monsters from the Natural, Mirror, or Fire Islands (Mythical Island does not allow Zapping). Additionally, all but one of a Rare Flex Egg's elemental sigils are obscured with asterisks, with the unobscured element being required, and the total number of elemental sigils representing how many elements the Egg must have. If a Monster's Egg is the correct rarity, has the matching amount of total sigils, and shares the unobscured element of the Flex Egg, it can be Zapped to fill the Flex Egg's requirement. If any of these conditions are not met, the Egg will be ineligible for the Flex Egg. Mythical Flex Eggs only have one Element to show, so they do not hide any additional Elements with asterisks.
If a zapped Egg happens to match the requirements of two different Flex Eggs, it will prioritize its left-most element first when considering what Egg to fill.

Strategy[]
- This section details general strategy that can be applied to zap eggs to Monsters that have time limits. For specialized strategies for individual Monsters, visit the dedicated Strategy section on their page.
For Wublins, Celestials, and limited time Vessels, it is recommended to wait until all of your Breeding Structures have eggs ready to zap, rather than zapping as soon as a Monster is ready. As soon as you zap the first egg, the Monster's timer will start. Starting with Monsters that have a longer waiting time, like Quad Element and Triple Element Monsters, saves you even more time and fills out the most difficult Eggs of the zapping process without the concern of time constraints. When working with a limited number of Islands or Breeding Structures, it is also best to work on one Wublin or Celestial at a time to not become overwhelmed and eventually fail an inventory. Since more expensive Wublins and all Celestials require a large number of eggs, it is not recommended for beginners to attempt reviving one without completing the Common Monster collection on the Natural Islands, or Bonus Breeding Structures. It is also a similar case for Vessels, though the player must have completed the Common Monster collection on the Fire and Magical Islands, due to the presence of their respective Quad Element Monsters. Don't forget that some Natural Monsters can be bred on Shugabush Island by "breeding failure", although unreliable.
Breeding Monsters[]
The best way to reliably breed a Monster is to breed its Common and Rare variants together, as this will guarantee a 100% chance of success. If you don't have a Rare version, there are other reliable combinations to use:
- For Single Element Monsters, breed it with the Quad Element.
- For Double Element Monsters, breed two Single Elementals together. A Quad + Double breeding combination also presents an 80% chance on Natural Islands if no applicable Epics are available, with a small chance of a Quad Element and a smaller chance of an Epic Seasonal if it is available. On Magical Islands, breeding a Quad and a Double Element Natural has a high likelihood of producing a Quad. On Fire Islands, breeding Stogg and Phangler with a Quad also has a high likelihood.
- For Triple Element Monsters, there are two strategies. Use a Triple + Quad breeding combination, despite their small chance to produce an Ethereal (even more so during Breeding Bonanza events). You can also breed the Triple with a Single Element Monster that shares at least one element. Be sure that this Monster also has a low breeding time to account for failure, such as Noggin, Mammott, and Toe Jammer.
- For Quad Element Monsters, the most reliable way outside of using Rares, is to use its regular Triple + Single breeding combination. On Fire and Magical Islands, you can get it much more reliably using Double Elements. On Magical Islands, use the Natural Double (does not contain the Fire element or a Magical element), on Fire Haven, use Tring + Stogg, and on Fire Oasis, use Sneyser + Phangler.
It is also best to avoid filling Wublins or Celestials during a Rare promotion, since it will increase the risk of breeding a Rare (that cannot be zapped) unintentionally and losing time, unless the player has a currently evolving Wublin.
Look at the elements of the Monsters you are trying to breed, and the Monsters they can be bred from, compared to the Monsters required for a Wublin. For example, for the Dwumrohl, you can breed an Entbrat from a Bowgart and a Noggin. Any of these Monsters can be zapped into the Dwumrohl even if the breeding is unsuccessful, and you will produce one of the parent Monsters as a result.

Notes[]
- Zapping Seasonal eggs from Seasonal Shanty is impossible. This is because of the special energy signature of the Island's power generator.
- This was confirmed in the 3.9.4 Update Breakdown to be "a deliberate design decision".
- Attempting to do so will cause this message to appear:
- "The special energy signature of the power generator on Seasonal Shanty interferes with the ability to Zap eggs from this Island."
- As of now, no Ethereal, Legendary or Paironormal Monsters are required to fill an inventory, so they cannot be zapped.
- All Seasonal and Rare Monsters needed for a Celestial's ascension will be available during the month associated with the featured Celestial.
- As of Version 4.1.0, Flex Eggs were updated to feature new design details. The first one being that the Rare Flex Eggs now have the same shine as Rare eggs in the Nursery (it will presumably will be the same for Epic Flex Eggs, if they ever get added), and the second being that the Flex Egg symbol is now an asterisk.
- Like Seasonals, you cannot zap Mythicals from Mythical Island.
- Before Version 4.3.2, the notice that appeared when attempting to zap a Mythical from Mythical Island erroneously stated 'NO_ZAP_FROM_MYTHICAL_ISLAND'. This was later changed to be the notice nearby.
- As of June 1, 2024, the only monster that requires Mythical Eggs is Adult Vhamp, which requires 3 Mythical Flex Eggs.
- The "Flex" part in Flex Eggs is short for "flexibility", indicating how they "adapt" to fill the role of various different Monster Eggs. They might also be a pun on flax eggs.
- Flax eggs are a vegan egg subsitute made from ground flaxseed and water. The Flex Eggs may be a reference to this in the fact that they are like "subsitutes" for a specific Monster Egg.
