“ | Yooreek… uh… what's the story behind this Monster? It seems to possess an organic exterior, but the sound it produces definitely evokes something more robotic. Perhaps this trait is 'inherited' from auditory residue from former residents of the Workshop. This Ethereal and Gaddzooks appear to have a lot of genetic programming in common, but the quirks of the attunement and synthesis processes have resulted in markedly different final products. It matters little to these two, who savor each other's company and really 'click' musically. | ” |

Description[]
Yooreek is a Triple-Element Ethereal Monster that is found on Ethereal Workshop and Plasma Islet. It was added alongside Meebkin, Blarret, Gaddzooks, and Auglur on October 11th, 2023 during version 4.1.0. As a Triple-Element Ethereal on Ethereal Workshop, it is obtained by successfully extracting the energies of a Plasma Meeb, a Shadow Meeb, and a Mech Meeb, using the Synthesizer by spending 2,500 . Its successful synthesis time is 1 day and 6 hours long. As a Triple-Element Ethereal, Yooreek has worse Shard production than Single-Element or Double-Element Ethereals, but Ethereal Workshop lacks both of those, making it an ideal choice for the Island. The Goal for placing your first Yooreek rewards the player with 100
.
On Plasma Islet, Yooreek can be obtained by Dish-Harmonizing a Monster using the Dish-Harmonizer. Its incubation time is 1 day and 6 hours long. As a Triple-Element Ethereal Monster, Yooreek has a decent Shard production compared to other Monsters on Plasma Islet.

Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.

Synthesizing[]
Yooreek is only available for purchase or synthesizing on Ethereal Workshop. This requires using three Meebs in the Synthesizer attuned to the elements of Plasma, Shadow and Mech, with each Meeb carrying one element.

Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Yooreek:
- Gaddzooks (requires level 19)

Statistics[]
Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]
Earning rate is in Shards per hour and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.
Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the shards earned per minute, as well as the maximum shards earned.

Notes[]
- Yooreek's name is a pun on "Eureka," as acknowledged in its bio, the first page of the Synthesizer tutorial, and the fact that it is the first of the Ethereal Workshop Monsters in terms of stability, due to its general "experiment" and "invention" setting.
- Yooreek was the only Ethereal Workshop Monster to be teased in the Ethereal Workshop trailer, but not be teased outside the My Singing Monsters YouTube channel.
- Yooreek and Gaddzooks are related. This is likely because the two share similar naming conventions, with both "Eureka" and "Gadzooks" being expressions used when one is surprised (although Eureka is a more positive expression than Gadzooks).
- This is also reflected in their appearance. They both have bumpy skin, orange and turquoise in color, and they both have "necks" with "heads" that only have one mouth (though Yooreek has only one, while Gadzooks has two).
- In the "My Singing Monsters - 4.1 Update Showcase" livestream on the official My Singing Monsters Youtube channel, Monster-Handler Matt hinted at Yooreek using some of Wubbox's auditory residue to create its robotic sound, given how Monster-Handler Matt also hinted at Galvana, the electricity Celestial, inhabiting the Workshop in the past to create Wubbox itself.
- Yooreek and Blarret are the only two Monsters on Ethereal Workshop Wave 1 to not play together during release.
- With an instability of 6, Yooreek is by far the most stable Triple-Element Ethereal, since its combination has three of the most stable Elements, thus having the highest success rate in synthesizing.
- Yooreek's name is similar to one of Rare Riff's possible Monster names, that being Yooreka.
- Yooreek has a similiar body plan to the Pengwings from Subnautica. Specifically, they both have their mouths on top of their heads and have four eyes in similar locations.
- According to the second episode of the second season of Quick Questions, Yooreek uses both mouths to eat treats, with the bigger mouth grinding them up into crumbs, while the smaller mouth ingests it like normal.
- On that topic as well, Yooreeks are known to sometimes be picky eaters, preferring their treats plain, using their bigger mouths to filter and eject certain aspects before they are ingested by their smaller mouths. For example, if Yooreek eats a cupcake, its larger mouth will filter the sprinkles as it grinds up the cupcake to spit the sprinkles out afterwards.
- On Ethereal Workshop, Yooreek's first track can be heard in Pentumbra's second track.
