My Singing Monsters Wiki
Dawn of Fire

As the snow lay round about (deep and crisp and even) one wintry night long ago, a group of Monsters gathered around to construct the first coldman (snowman, for you human world types). They laughed and made merry, and rejoiced in the warmth of each other's company during this hibernal pastime. That wasn't the only thing that was warm, though - the frenzy and frolicking of the Monsters at play (especially the Fire Monsters) began to melt the coldman! To their utter surprise, as the powdery snow fell away, a young Monster carrying a handmade jingle stick emerged. At first sight of the Seasonal, the Monsters felt a surge of holiday cheer and goodwill towards Monsters. Thus was the Yool born, forever after celebrated as the keeper of joy to the Monster World, and enthusiastic participant in the Continent song.

Quick Answers

What is the breeding combination for Yool in My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire? toggle section
In My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire, Yool cannot be bred using Thumpies and Congle like in the original game. Instead, it must be bred with the same combination as in the original game, but with the Cold Element replaced with the Fire Element, making its breeding combination Barrb and Whaddle. Breeding a Seasonal Monster like Yool is not a guaranteed success and may result in either of the parent Monsters. The breeding time for Yool is 1 day and 12 hours.

Why can't Yool be teleported to an Outer Island in My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire? toggle section
In My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire, Yool is unable to be teleported to an Outer Island. This is a result of the game's teleportation mechanics which involve a monster permanently departing its birth island for a new one. As specified in Version 3.0.2, Yool's teleportation to any Outer Islands is not possible.

VSTs[]

Main article: VSTs

Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.

Breeding[]

Yool can only be bred for a limited time during the Festival of Yay Junior event. Unlike the original game, where Yool is bred with the Thumpies and Congle, Yool is instead bred with Barrb and Whaddle. When bred successfully, the Breeding Structure timer should display a waiting time of 36 hours.

Feeding Monsters[]

Exclusively on Continent, Yool will request for Crafting Items that are the products of Structures. If you cannot give the Monster the Crafting Items it requires, you can click the New Order button. After a 15 minute wait, it will ask for a new combination of Crafting Items.

Rewards[]

When given the wanted Crafting Item, like any Monster, it will reward you Coins, Experience and will progress the Monster to the next Level. You can also give a Monster any other Crafting Item, but you won’t receive Coins or Experience for doing so.

Teleporting[]

Yool cannot be teleported to any Outer Islands as of Version 3.0.2.

Notes[]

  • Yool was teased in the 2023 Black Friday Sale, which heavily featured Punkleton.
  • Yool is the second Core Seasonal to release in Dawn of Fire, the first one being Punkleton.
  • Young Yool's description is a reference to "Good King Wenceslas", a Christmas song.
  • Young Yool doesn't have its sleigh bells on its antlers. Instead, it holds them in its hand due to its antlers being too small to have the bells on them.
    • As soon as a Yool's antlers are large enough to support weight, the sleigh bells are moved there. The bell-stick is kept and used as a toothpick.[1]
  • The appearance of Young Yool resembles that of a Christmas Elf, especially with the addition of a ruff collar.
  • Yool is the first Monster in My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire whose breeding combination is completely different than the one of its original My Singing Monsters counterpart. Schmoochle also has an entirely different breeding combination.
    • This excludes Punkleton, whose breeding combination in Dawn of Fire is only slightly different, and all the Monsters who cannot be bred in the original game at all.
  • Yool and Tuskski were the first (non-Prismatic) Monsters to release in Dawn of Fire as a pair since 2018, with the additions of Reedling and Scups.
  • According to Monster Handler Matt, Yool was one of the first young Seasonal Monsters designed for Dawn of Fire years ago.
  • In version 3.1.0, there was a bug where Yool's sound was not playing when G'joob first played at the half of Glowl's verse. This bug has been fixed in version 3.2.0.
