“ | What happens when an individual from the flashy yet mute race of Glowbes yearns to cast off its "honorary" Singing Monster status and find a voice of its own? A Whiz-bang, that's what! There's only so much a silent being can stand living among loud and boisterous creatures before it transforms and devises a sound of its own... and talk about a distinctive sound! Previously confined to just one hue, Whiz-bangs proudly cycle through all the colors of the spectrum as they see fit. During the longest days of the year, these Seasonals congregate and cooperate to "paint" the sky with explosions and every color imaginable - and all of the Monster World is welcome to join the celebration! | ” |

Description[]
Whiz-bang is a Seasonal Monster that celebrates the SkyPainting season and is found on Light Island and Seasonal Shanty. It was added on June 22nd, 2022 during Version 3.5.0. As a Seasonal Monster, it is only available at certain times. It is best obtained by breeding Blow't and Spytrap. By default, its breeding time is 1 day, 4 hours, and 6 minutes long. Audio Sample:
Instrument: Fireworks
True to its name, Whiz-bang spins and makes a quick whizzing sound, then makes several loud bangs, similar to that of a firework. On Seasonal Shanty, each explosion is on beat with Carillong, and on Light Island, each explosion is on beat with the start of TooToo and Flowah's verse.
VSTs[]
Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.

Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Whiz-bang:
- Fluoress (requires level 9) ()
- Carillong (level 9) ()
- Cozee Cabin (level 19)
- Fire Bush (level 5)
- Wild Bagpipe (level 7) ()

Statistics[]
Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]
Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.
Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

More info can be found in the Feeding article.
Egg Consumption[]
- Main article: Zapping
While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials can be used to "dispose of" Whiz-bang eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Whiz-bang eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Also note that Seasonal Monsters, like Whiz-bang, cannot be zapped from Seasonal Shanty.

Notes[]
- Whiz-bang's name is an onomatopoeia for its sound. It may also come from the preexisting word, "whiz-bang," meaning lively, sensation or fast-paced.
- Due to Whiz-bang's bio stating that it was a former Glowbe (meaning that it changed classes from Spectral to Seasonal), Whiz-bang is the second Monster to have changed its own class, excluding any Rare or Epic Evolutions (the first being Kayna, when it changed from "Natural" to "Fire").
- Whiz-bang's transformation from a mute "honorary Monster" to a colorful Monster with a sound may be an allusion to the process of gender transitioning and, more broadly, "coming out of the closet" as LGBT.
- Whiz-bang's regular breeding time of 28 hours and 6 minutes, and base Currency production maximum of 1,970 , is a reference to Pride Day, which takes place on 6/28 (28/6) to celebrate the first ever pride parade, which was held all the way back in 1970.
- When Whiz-bang was initially released on Seasonal Shanty, there was a bug where Monculus would not play its part at all. This was fixed swiftly after Whiz-bang's release.
- Whiz-bang is the only Seasonal Monster that is bred through a Quad-Element and Triple-Element Monster.
- This was formerly the case for Yool, whose combination was formerly Deedge and the Thumpies, before the combination was changed so as not to share a breeding combination with the Ethereal Monster Grumpyre. This is only the case for Whiz-bang because there is not, and will likely never be, an Ethereal Monster on Light Island (or on any of the Magical Islands for that matter).
