“ | It is scientifically impossible to become vexed with the sweet-natured Whaddle. Not that this demure little monster would ever do something Vexing! One flutter of its fluffy lashes or gentle giggle is all that's needed to soothe the spirit of a troubled Monster. | ” |

Description[]
Whaddle is a Triple-Element Fire Monster that is unlocked on Fire Oasis. It was added on June 19th, 2019 during the 2.3.0 Fire Oasis update. It is best obtained by breeding Glowl and Toe Jammer. By default, its breeding time is 20 hours long. As a Fire Triple-Elemental, Whaddle has decent Coin production, though Sneyser is recommended.
On Amber Island, Whaddle is only available at select times. When available, it is obtained by purchasing in the Market for 20 as a Vessel, which then can be revitalized by zapping eggs into it. As a Fire Triple-Elemental, Whaddle has decent Relic production
Song[]
Audio Sample:
Voice actress: Maggie Park
Whaddle's voice is deeper than in Dawn of Fire. It sings "No. Na-na-la now now no. Na-na-la now now no. Na-na-la now now no. Na-na-la now now no. Na-na-la now now no. Na-na-la now now now." It plays alongside Phangler, the Dipsters, and Woolabee. On Amber Island, its voice is higher in tone, sounding more similar to its counterpart in Dawn of Fire. It plays alongside Glowl and Thrumble.
Breeding[]
Whaddle requires the elements of Air, Water, and Fire. Breeding combinations are as follows:
The best combination is Glowl and Toe Jammer as you either succeed in getting a Whaddle, get a Glowl that can be sold for 112.5k coins, or get a Toe Jammer, allowing you to retry almost instantly.
Whaddle can also be bred in a breeding failures. Some combinations that result in a Whaddle in a breeding failure include:
- + Whaddle and Rare Whaddle
(Best choice, 100% chance of a Whaddle if Rare Whaddle is unavailable)
- + Whaddle and Sneyser
(Good choice, very small chance of getting Sneyser)
Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Whaddle:
- Kayna (requires level 9)
- Sooza (level 9) ()
- Barrb (level 9) ()
- Bowhead (level 9) (,)
- Beeyoot Tree (level 8) ()
- Yum Yum Tree (level 18) ()
- Cozee Cabin (level 19) (,)
See the Likes page to view a complete list of all Monsters' likes.
Note: On Amber Island, all of Whaddle's likes are only obtainable for a limited time, with the exception of Kayna. Amber Vessels must be revitalized before they count towards Whaddle's happiness.

Revitalizing[]
On Amber Island, Whaddle must be powered up rather than being bred. Unlike Wublins and Celestials, the allotted time to fill a Vessel does not start when the first egg is zapped, but are instead are only available to purchase and fill at select times. The inventory must be completed in this time. When a purchased vessel is incomplete after the time, it will disappear and half of the relics spent will be given back. You will also get the option to revive Whaddle by purchasing the missing eggs with Diamonds. Eggs can be zapped from Mirror Islands instead of, or in conjunction with Natural Islands.

Filling In[]
Like other Monsters on Amber Island, Whaddle can instead be filled in with Diamonds. Each egg can be filled in for 40. Whaddle requires a total of 1,560 for all eggs to be filled.
Since all eggs have an equal Diamond fill cost, it is best to save your Diamonds for the Monsters that are harder to obtain. And oftentimes, it is cheaper to speed up eggs to zap from the Breeding Structure instead.
Wildcards may also be used when filling in a Whaddle's inventory. Similarly, it's best to save them for harder to obtain Monsters.
Used in Breeding[]
Whaddle is used in the following breeding combinations: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Statistics[]
Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]
Earning rate is in Coins per minute or Relics per month (28 days) and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.
Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

More info can be found in the Feeding article.
Egg Consumption[]
While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Vessels can be used to "dispose of" Whaddle eggs immediately instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Vessels; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Whaddle eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs.

Notes[]
- Whaddle's name comes from the word waddle, which means to walk with short steps in a clumsy swaying motion. This is because its feet resemble that of a duck, which is notorious for waddling.
- Whaddle was revealed to be reintroduced in the Fire Oasis reveal.
- Whaddle's Fire Oasis track, coincidentally, is very similar to Phangler on Cloud Island, with the vice versa also being true.
- Despite having a deeper voice on Fire Oasis, Whaddle is still voiced by Maggie Park like in DoF, according to the Monster-Handlers in the 33rd episode of My Singing Monsters Live.
- Whaddle's Fire Oasis song is one of the few monsters that keeps its vocals, but changes pitch; for example, Tweedle.
- On Amber Island, Whaddle's song uses a repurposed sound from when Bone Island was a Fire Island containing Flum Ox, as Whaddle's original voice actor had since left the team. This has been officially confirmed by a discord reply from Dave Kerr who initially composed bone island back when it was a fire island. Whaddle was likely replaced by Banjaw, due to the similarity in their tracks.
- If the Fire Oasis coincidence is an actual fact, then that would make all of Whaddle's tracks either repurposed tracks or tracks that were redone with a new voice.
- Whaddle and Woolabee inhabit the same Islands, even in Dawn of Fire.
