“ | The Viveine is a warm and caring soul with the ability to commune with all creatures, big and small - but it's no secret that its favorites are the critters that populate the diverse ecosystems of the Monster World. This Seasonal Monster has a particular soft spot for Wingalings, the protomorphic Mon-drakes that make their homes among the copses of the Green Trees. Despite its gentle disposition, it is fiercely protective of the natural world, and will go to great lengths to preserve it. The gentle, rhythmic rustling of its branches attracts all manner of critters to settle in and keep the Viveine company - although the constant movement has a tendency to kick up pollen and activate Seasonal allergies. | ” |

Description[]
Viveine is a Seasonal Monster that resides on the Islands of Shugabush Island, Seasonal Shanty, and Amber Island. It was added alongside Rare TooToo on April 27th, 2022 during Version 3.5.0. As a Seasonal Monster, Viveine is only available at certain times. On Shugabush Island, it is best obtained by breeding Shugabush and Oaktopus. By default, its breeding time is 1 day, 2 hours, 5 minutes, and 20 seconds long. Viveine does not have a high Coin production.
On Seasonal Shanty, Viveine can either be teleported there from Shugabush Island once fed to level 15 or by breeding Punkleton and Blabbit. Viveine has a low Coin production, but high maximum income compared to other Monsters. The Goal for placing a Viveine on Seasonal Shanty rewards the player with 5 .
On Amber Island, when available, it is obtained by purchasing in the Market for 25 as a Vessel, which then can be revitalized by zapping eggs into it.
Song[]
Audio Samples:
Maracas + Sneeze (Memory Game; Seasonal Shanty):
Vocal (Shugabush Island):
Instrument: Maracas (Sounding like leaves)
Voice actors: Amelia Fraser (Seasonal Shanty) Jenn Iannessa (Shugabush Island)
Viveine contributes to the song by making a maraca-like leaves sound. On Seasonal Shanty, the Wingaling in its head makes a sneezing sound at the end of its track. Viveine also says "Ooh! Oh yeah!" on Shugabush Island with Oaktopus.
VSTs[]
Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.
- Half of Amber Island
VST: Kontakt
Sound library: Free ASMR (Made by 8dio)
SoundFont: Nature
The VSTs for the rest of Viveine have not yet been found.
Breeding[]
Viveine can only be bred for a limited time during the Echoes of Eco season on Shugabush Island, or anytime on Seasonal Shanty. On Amber Island, Viveine cannot be bred. Instead, it must be bought from the Market as an inactive Vessel and revitalized by zapping eggs.
- Shugabush Island: + Shugabush and Oaktopus
- May result in a Shugajo. Can also result in a Rare Oaktopus or Epic Mammott if available
- Seasonal Shanty: + Punkleton and Blabbit
- Amber Island: Buy a Vessel for 25 Relics in the Market and revitalize.
Note that breeding Seasonal Monsters is not 100% guaranteed to get you the Monster. You might have to try multiple times.
- + Viveine and Rare Viveine
(Best choice, 100% chance of a Viveine if Rare Viveine is unavailable)
Availability[]
- For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability
Viveine, like all Seasonals are only available during their own season, a weekend Out-of-Season event (6 months apart) and the Anniversary Month Celebration. It is also available to breed at any time on Seasonal Shanty.
Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Viveine:
- Shugavox (requires level 9) ()
- Boo'qwurm (level 9) ()
- Flowah (level 9) ()
- Barrb (level 9) ()
- Edamimi (level 9) ()

Monsters Who Like It[]
The following Monster(s) will increase their happiness by 25% when being placed near Viveine or when Viveine and a Unity Tree are on the Island. These may or may not also be Viveine's likes as well:
Revitalizing[]
On Amber Island, Viveine must be powered up rather than being bred. Unlike Wublins and Celestials, the allotted time to fill a Vessel does not start when the first egg is zapped, but instead are only available to purchase and fill at select times. The inventory must be completed in this time. When a purchased vessel is incomplete after the time, it will disappear and half of the relics spent will be given back. You will also get the option to revive Viveine by purchasing the missing eggs with Diamonds. Eggs can be zapped from Mirror Islands instead of, or in conjunction with Natural and Magical Islands.

Filling In[]
Like other Monsters on Amber Island, Viveine can instead be filled in with Diamonds. Each egg can be filled in for 40. Viveine requires a total of 800 for all eggs to be filled.
Since all eggs have an equal Diamond fill cost, it is best to save your Diamonds for the Monsters that are harder to obtain. And oftentimes, it is cheaper to speed up eggs to zap from the Breeding Structure instead.
Wildcards may also be used when filling in a Viveine's inventory. Similarly, it's best to save them for harder to obtain Monsters.
Used in Breeding[]
Viveine is used in the following breeding combinations: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Statistics[]
Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]
Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.
Shugabush Island/Seasonal Shanty[]
Amber Island[]
Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

More info can be found in the Feeding article.
Egg Consumption[]
- Main article: Zapping
While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials can be used to "dispose of" Viveine eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

|
Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Viveine eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Also note that Seasonal Monsters, like Viveine, cannot be zapped from Seasonal Shanty.

Notes[]
- Viveine's name comes in part from the Latin root word -viv-, used to denote something as alive or lively. Matt stated in the September 2022 edition of MSM Live that it also references a type of real-world flower, vervain. It could also be based on the female name "Vivienne," possibly referencing its feminine appearance.
- On the My Singing Monsters Live of April 2022, it was hinted by Monster-Handler Matt that in the future, Viveine would go to an Island that has Flowah, which would mean that the possible candidates before the exact Island was revealed were Light Island, Psychic Island, or Amber Island. (Fire Haven did not count since it already had Gobbleygourd.)
- During the My Singing Monsters Live 10th Anniversary Edition, it was accidentally revealed by Tyson that Viveine would indeed go on Amber Island.
- In a Board Game Art Print Livestream, it was also hinted that the Island Viveine would go to was themed around preservation.
- In a turn of tables, Viveine also got added to Shugabush Island, making it the first (and currently only) time that island's song was updated since it first released. This is most likely due to an Island Spotlight that featured it, Water Island, and Psychic Island, while the Time of the Season sale featured Viveine, Blabbit, and Boo'qwurm respectively. Tyson also said Viveine was added to Shugabush Island as a surprise, since he accidentally spoiled Viveine going to Amber Island.
- It was confirmed on My Singing Monsters Live of April 2023 Vol. 2 that BBB contacted Kristian Bush to ask him permission to add Viveine on Shugabush Island, as the island's song is a remix of Love or Money, a song made by Kristian Bush himself.
- During the My Singing Monsters Live 10th Anniversary Edition, it was accidentally revealed by Tyson that Viveine would indeed go on Amber Island.
- Several Critters appear on and around Viveine as it plays and idles; Plant Island's 'bird', Cold Island's 'bunny', and Amber Island's Wingaling.
- However, the Wingaling doesn't appear at all when Viveine plays or sings on Shugabush Island.
- In Viveine's song on Seasonal Shanty, there is a sneeze, which does not come from Viveine itself, but the Wingaling instead. This is the first in-game occurrence where a critter "sings", which would be followed much later with Meebkin.
- In the 2022 SummerSong trailer, Viveine has been shown to be airborne with the help of the Wingalings. This was also done in the trailer for Echoes of Eco.
- Viveine is the third Seasonal Monster to appear on two different islands (not counting the Mirror Islands, Seasonal Shanty, The Colossingum, and Gold Island) after Hoola and Gobbleygourd.
- It spoke English for the first time on Shugabush Island.
- Viveine used to be the only Common Monster on Amber Island to have Decorations as likes rather than Monsters, until August 29th, 2024, where it now likes other Monsters.
- When Viveine was first added to Amber Island, its vessel in the shop mistakenly displayed every island in the game except for Light Island, Psychic Island, Ethereal Island, Mythical Island, Wublin Island, Celestial Island, and Tribal Island under the "Islands" section of its info page.
- There was a glitch where Viveine wouldn't sing on Shugabush Island. As of May 17th, 2023, it has been fixed.
- On Shugabush Island, Viveine shares its breeding combination with Shugajo, with both having the breeding combination of Shugabush + Oaktopus.
- All of Viveine’s nicknames are references to influential, real-world nature activists and environmentalists.
- “Alda” is a reference to American ecologist and nature author Aldo Leopold.
- “Atten” is a reference to English nature broadcaster and historian Sir David Attenborough.
- “Gudawl” is a reference to English primatologist and anthropologist Jane Goodall.
- “Ladouk” is a reference to Native American land preservationist Winona LaDuke.
- “Maathai” is a reference to Kenyan environmental activist Wangarĩ Maathai.
- “Mendess” is a reference to Brazilian human rights activist Chico Mendes.
- “Mweer” is a reference to Scottish-born American naturalist John Muir.
- “Raich” is a reference to American marine biologist and conservationist Rachel Carson.
- “Taurro” is a reference to American naturalist and philosopher Henry David Thoreau.
- And “Toonberg” is a reference to Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg.
- Viveine is the only non-Fire Monster to be on Amber Island.
- Viveine is also the only Monster to be on Amber Island and not be on a Fire or Magical Island.
- Kayna and Viveine are the only two monsters on Amber Island to not require any Magical eggs in their inventories.
- Viveine is the only monster on Amber Island to need more than 2 Kayna eggs in its inventory. Kayna itself needs no Kayna eggs, and all of the other Fire Monsters need 2 Kayna eggs.
