| “ | Behold… a workshop within the Workshop! Fittingly, the Mech Quad Vhenshun looks like the wooden workbench of Monster antiquity where items and decorations alike were crafted… if that workbench sprang to life and swapped crafting for clanging! Not only is this contraption itself a product of mechanical invention, it's an inventor in its own right! The Monster is constantly experimenting with the materials available to devise new gadgets and gizmos - not unlike the Celestial that shares its Elemental affiliation. Rumors swirl around that it's planning a hi-Mech heist to distract Zarroë and escape into the great beyond, but we're not sure the world is prepared for Vhenshun impact. | ” |

Description[]
Vhenshun is a Quad-Element Ethereal Monster that is found on Ethereal Workshop and Mech Islet. It was added alongside Piplash, Epic Woolabee, Rare Boo'qwurm, and Epic Sox on February 14th, 2024, during version 4.1.3. As a Quad-Element Ethereal on Ethereal Workshop, it is obtained by successfully extracting the energies of a Plasma Meeb, a Shadow Meeb, a Mech Meeb, and a Poison Meeb, using the Hyper-Refined Synthesizer by spending 5,000
. Its successful Synthesis time is 1 day and 18 hours long. As a Quad-Element Ethereal, Vhenshun has a decent Shard production. The Goal for placing your first Vhenshun rewards the player with 200
.
Song[]
Audio sample:
Instruments: Carpenter saw and steam whooshing SFX, whistles, metallic percussion
Vhenshun's contribution to the song is a variety of construction-based sound effects to make a percussive rhythm, and it also plays a set of regular metal whistles and steam whooshing sounds. On Mech Islet, it can also make a sound similar to a train whistle.
VSTs[]
- Main article: VSTs
Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. Synthesizing[]
Vhenshun is only available for purchase or synthesizing on Ethereal Workshop. As a Quad-Element Ethereal, it requires a pre-existing Triple-Element Ethereal to "build upon". Vhenshun, being a Quad-Element Ethereal, requires two Meebs attuned to each of the Triple-Element Ethereal's Elements, and three Meebs attuned to the fourth Element in the Hyper-Refined Synthesizer. The following Triple-Elementals can be used to synthesize Vhenshun:
![]() Yooreek |
+ | ![]() ![]() ![]() 2 of each attuned Meebs of Yooreek's elements |

![]() Blarret |

+ | ![]() 3 Shadow Meebs |
![]() Piplash |
+ | ![]() ![]() ![]() 2 of each attuned Meebs of Piplash's elements |
+ | ![]() 3 Plasma Meebs |
- There is no indication that Synthesis chances are affected by what combination is used. Of the four Triple-Element Monsters you can use, Yooreek is the easiest to obtain, as it is the most stable out of the four combinations.
Note that the successful synthesis of Vhenshun will result in the Triple-Element Ethereal Monster being lost in the process.

Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster of the same rarity on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Vhenshun:

Statistics[]
Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]
Earning rate is in Shards per hour and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.
Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the shards earned per minute, as well as the maximum shards earned.

Notes[]
- Vhenshun's name is a corruption of the word "invention".
- Vhenshun represents the Mech Element, just like Vhamp, the Celestial that shares it.
- Vhenshun is the second Quad-Element Monster to be released after the Celestial its Element is represented by, with the first being Whaill.
- Vhenshun was the only Ethereal Quad to release before the Adult Celestial its Element is represented by.
- Although Vhenshun is the Mech Quad, it was released before Pentumbra, the Shadow Quad, despite Shadow coming before Mech in elemental and instability order. This also makes Vhenshun more stable than Pentumbra, despite representing a less stable element.
- This is because, in order of stability, the Mech element is in the middle. Had the conventional order been followed, Vhenshun and Pentumbra would swap elements, leaving Vhenshun, the Mech Quad, without the Mech element.
- Similarly, Reebro, the Mech Single Elemental, was released before Grumpyre, the Shadow Single Elemental, a decade before Vhenshun was released.
- When Vhenshun initially released, its back camera-facing leg was undamaged. This was later fixed in version 4.1.4.
- Vhenshun's first track can be heard in the first track of Pentumbra.
- Although, not seen in-game. Vhenshun actually has a removable buzz-saw part and an additional claw, as revealed in Breakout Stars, the SummerSong 2024 trailer.
- Vhenshun is also shown to have an additional pickaxe in The Vhenshun Redempshun trailer.
- In the same trailer, Vhenshun is seen building a machine in order to visit the Clubbox, which references its bio.
- This machine is seen again at the end of My Singing Monsters - Out of the Blue (Official Creator Month Kickoff). The panel spells out "warp?".
- The melody of “Down In The Workshop” can be heard playing in the background of the trailer, which is a popular fan-made song about Vhenshun that was made by The Wild Guess.
- When version 4.4.0 initially released, there was a bug where Vhenshun played at a part it wasn't meant to, playing its track 2 sound at measures 33 and 34 in the song table. This has since been fixed.
