This page lists the 36 versions of My Singing Monsters from 3.0.0 to 3.9.4
Version 3.9.4[]
If you listen, the stars have a story to tell... introducing the astounding phenomenon of Celestial ASCENSION!
Each month, one of the 12 CELESTIALS will unlock the ability to Ascend from its young form into an adult! You'll need to Zap the proper combination of eggs into its inventory, including hard-to-get Monsters like Seasonals and Rares... and you'll only have the duration of the month to do so. Thankfully, you'll be able to use the new FLEX egg system to choose from an assortment of eligible Monsters to Zap. Then, when the inventory is complete, harness the power of KEYS to complete the Ascension! Because of their special connection to the genesis of the Monster World, Ascended Celestials can now generate Keys themselves! Let's kick it off with the first Celestial we met all those years ago... SCARATAR!
The final Colossal CONUNDRUM (for now) is available on Earth Island for the first time - perhaps its appearance will remind you of another eye-opening reveal some years back? As Boo'qwurm prepares for the MINDBOGGLE Seasonal Event, excitement is starting to build for the grand finale of our Anniversary Year celebration...

- Completed Eggs are now darkened, incomplete Eggs are now lightened (reversed from older versions).

- Trophies are now placed into the Market, rather than the Mailbox.
- Trophies can now be placed on The Colossingum.
- The Colossal Conundra button is available in the Activities Menu again.

Detailed Notes:
- Released June 21st, 2023.
- Rare Wubbox's singing animations on all Islands except Plant, Ethereal, and Fire Haven have been updated to add more eye-movement. Its idle animation was also slightly changed to closer match Wubbox's idle animation. It appears its Fire Haven idle animation was reused on every island it appears on. It's much easier to notice the difference on Ethereal Island if comparing its current idle animation to previous versions on this island.
- When Conjuring/Fuzing a Glowbe, it now states that it will take 2 hours to complete either process.
- Some time after April 17th, 2023 and noticed as of this update, the Sell price of Costumes on Ethereal Island was drastically reduced. For example, Jeeode's Tactile Taproot Costume would add 75,000 Shards to Jeeode's normal 20 Shards Selling price. This has been reduced to 75 Shards.
- On June 28th, 2023 - with the introduction of the full SkyPainting event, a few known issues were addressed:
- Monculus was made louder on Wublin Island and Ethereal Island.
- Ethereals now correctly play long notes on The Colossingum, instead of a very high-pitched normal note.
- On July 3rd, 2023, some changes to the SkyPainting Island Skin were made:
- Some of the Island's 'nodules' were wrongly colored, this was fixed.
- The background fireworks now have more of a smoke effect as they burst.
- A pink glow/haze was added to the Island's platforms.
- The SummerSong Seasonal Event arrives on July 12th, 2023:
- 9 new Costumes were added to the SummerSong series
- Three new Monsters were released throughout the event: Rare Incisaur, Rare Tympa, and Rare Carillong

- On June 7th, the first Life-Formula started, and Monculus became available.

The Cold Island CONUNDRUM is here, along with optimizations and improvements to the Colossal Conundra feature! The Coloss-Eye is now available for free from the beginning, and once placed on your island, will operate as your base of operations for collecting puzzle pieces and rewards! As more pieces are collected, the obelisk will be restored bit by bit to its full potential. Additionally, we've rebalanced the daily rewards to include helpful BOOSTS tied to the Conundrum's island. You can view which Boosts are active in the Info menu of that island.
The charming CLOVERSPELL Seasonal Event is making its grand debut on Faerie Island, adding (you guessed it!) the pocket-sized FFIDYLL to the fray! Even more minuscule than this Monster are the DIPSTERS, also arriving on Faerie Island for the first time! And no modern Seasonal Event is complete without a mesmerizing Seasonal ISLAND SKIN to activate as a trial... or to own forever!
On the opposite side of the size scale from Faerie Island's newest residents is the 'Big' TUSKSKI, the Cold Quint, trumpeting its way onto Amber Island in the penultimate WAVE 13! It's accompanied by the 'Gloomy Bloom' itself, the RARE EDAMIMI, as well as your picks for the Amber Rerun Vessel availabilities! Can you believe there's only 1 more Wave to go?

High quality resources[]
This release introduces the higher resolution resources that were previously exclusive to the Steam version of the game. The following should be read as differences between this version, and the previous version, where references to Steam may remain.
Overall Graphics
This version uses much higher quality graphics - both in terms of resolution (greater detail) and fidelity (smoother colors, especially in translucent areas).
Overall Sound
The sound quality is also slightly increased by not using (as much) audio compression. This does not mean that for many sounds that were originally recorded with a lower quality (22.05kHz) that they have become higher quality, and in practice it means that the difference between this and previous versions should generally be considered as imperceptible.
Other differences[]
The following are specific differences not directly attributable to the above listed differences.
- On Psychic Island, the 'fog' is now dense and white, while in the previous version it was sparse and purple.
- Riff's Spiny Six-String Costume now has an ear, where in the previous version this was missing.
- The Critter of Air Island now has a flat design, rather than the shaded design of the previous version. It also appears significantly smaller on the Island.
Version 3.6.0 (288)[]
Detailed Notes:
- Released July 22nd, 2022.
- Fixes reported crashes when spending Diamonds making Breeding Attempts, speeding up with ads, sporadically.
- On August 3rd, 2022, coinciding with the release of Tiawa and Candelavra, a 5-Element filter button was added to the Monsters list in the Market for the addition of Quint-Element Monsters.
Version 3.6.0 (286)[]

What's more, something has been hiding in the dark corners of Club Box - the NEW Epic Grumpyre! Who else is waiting to make their big debut, I wonder...
But that's not all! The Crucible, an ancient Structure encased in amber, is finally ready to spring to life! You'll need to make sure you've collected as many different Fire Monsters on Amber Island as possible before it can be restored. Then, gather up your Keys (who noticed the clue in last update's notes?) and use them to try and evolve your Common Fire Monsters into Rares! It's not a sure-Fire process, but extra heat gained by adding more Relics to the Crucible, and bonuses bestowed by Elemental Flags will go a long way! In Version 3.3, we answer one of the oldest questions in the Monster World - where do the Seasonal Monsters go during the rest of the year? To the SEASONAL SHANTY, of course! Teleport your Level 15 Seasonal Monsters to this brand new island to discover a whimsical new song and the never-before-seen JAM BOREE Monster! We expect to discover even more denizens of the Seasonal Shanty over the course of the next year...
Another enduring mystery of the Monster World has been solved - does Ethereal Island have a Rare Wubbox? It does now! Box your Rarethereals in this eccentric Electric beast and complete your collection! That may or may not be the only Wubbox-related discovery this month... time will tell...
Oh, and one more little thing. The Collect All feature. Because we love you.
Thanks for 9 years of breeding, feeding, and singing with the Monsters! Happy Monstering!
IN THIS UPDATE:
- COLLECT All Feature!!!
- NEW Island: Seasonal Shanty

Detailed Notes:

- Filters for the Market that categorize Monsters by Monster Element counts (1 Element, 2 Elements, 3 Elements, 4 Elements, and Special), and Costumes by Quest-rewards and Seasonal Sets.
- As part of this change, the old 'building' icon that resembled a classic tower not unlike the rook in a chess set, was replaced with a column adorned with an Ionic capital.
- All Monsters' Selling prices have been adjusted. Notable, the Triple and Quad-Element Fire and Magical Monsters have had their sell prices significantly reduced, making them less viable as Coin Farming elements. Additionally, the Magical Island(Light, Psychic, Faerie and Bone) castle upgrade costs have all been reduced, making them more accessible to newer players.
- The Big Salad in the Bakery now makes one million Treats instead of 750,000. This does away with previous concerns that it was less efficient to make than Cakes.
- The animation when first discovering a Monster can now be skipped.
- The option to buy 10 Relics for 265 Diamonds was removed from the Market. This had long caused confusion for players who did not realize that purchasing 10 Relics one at a time would add up to the same amount, instead expecting it to be 10 x 3 Diamonds, or 30 Diamonds total.
- The new Rare Wubbox on Ethereal Island has a shorter nursery time than other islands; requiring only 16 hours and 40 minutes. This is due to the fact that the monsters that live on Ethereal Island and another island have their breeding/incubation times divided by 3.6 on Ethereal Island.
- The Dipsters now only play in the second half of Ethereal Island’s final verse.
- The Spin Wheel minigame's wheel is now smaller than usual, and the button to play the Spin Wheel no longer shows up above the Castle.
- Monsters that a player has not yet discovered will appear first in the Monster Market.
- Earth Island is now required to unlock Fire Haven, rather than Cold Island.
- All of the collection collages in the Book of Monsters have been made bigger.
- Turkish translations were added.
- The lowercase "i" in the game font is now dotted.
- The prices of many islands and their castle upgrades were lowered or raised;
- Cold Island's price was lowered from 250,000 to 5,000.
- Air Island's price was lowered from 750,000 to 50,000.
- Water Island's price was lowered from 1,500,000 to 100,000.
- Earth Island's price was lowered from 7,500,000 to 250,000.
- Fire Haven's price was lowered from 750,000 to 500,000.
- Light Island's price was lowered from 1,500,000 to 1,000,000.
- Psychic Island's price was lowered from 1,500,000 to 1,250,000.
- Bone Island's price was raised from 1,500,000 to 1,750,000.
