The Unity Tree is a Structure that allows for Decorations and Monsters to be placed anywhere on the Island and still affect the Happiness of the Monsters that like them.
Decorations inside the Storage Structure and Monsters inside the Hotel Structure are still affected by the Unity Tree's powers. However, if all of one decoration type is sold, the Monsters will still get sad. An indirect benefit of having a Unity Tree on an Island is that you can sell off any duplicate decorations, freeing up the space they occupy.
A Unity Tree does not send Happiness effects between a regular Island and its Mirror version. A Mirror Island needs its own Unity Tree, which works only within that Island.
The Unity Tree is not available on Ethereal Islets. However, Primordial Monsters have the same effect as the Unity Tree once obtained.

- Tapping the Unity Tree will produce a sound consisting of one long note followed by three short notes. When interpreting the notes as morse code, you get the letter "B", which could be referencing Big Blue Bubble.
