“ | Wide-mouthed and keen snackers, Thrumbles are prone to swallowing Treats whole. Their elongated gullets can squash and stretch to provide said Treats with ample time to be pulverized by the reverberations of this happy-go-lucky hummer's signature thrumming. When thrumming on an empty stomach, bubbling pockets of air can expand and prompt a sudden flurry of giggles! | ” |

Description[]
Thrumble is a Triple-Element Fire Monster on Bone Island and Amber Island. It was added on April 8th, 2020 during the 2.3.9 Bone Island update. It is best obtained by breeding Phangler and Noggin. By default, its breeding time is 20 hours long. As a Fire Triple-Elemental, Thrumble has decent Coin production, though Plinkajou is recommended. The Goal for placing your first Thrumble rewards the player with 50,000 and 3 .
On Amber Island, Thrumble is only available at select times. When available, it is obtained by purchasing in the Market for 20 as a Vessel, which then can be revitalized by zapping eggs into it. As a Fire Triple-Elemental, Thrumble has decent Relic production.
Song[]
Audio Sample:
Voice actor: Stephanie Richardson
Just like in Dawn of Fire, Thrumble sings by humming. On Bone Island, it sings at the beginning with Toe Jammer and Peckidna (excluding Uuduk's verse). On Amber Island, it sings at the beginning with Glowl and Kayna and at the final verse with Flum Ox.
Thrumble usually sings "ho-hummmmmmm" on the islands it is on.
Breeding[]
Thrumble requires the elements of Earth, Water, and Fire. Breeding combinations are as follows:
- Of these, Phangler+Noggin is the best combination, as failing and breeding a Noggin lets you retry the combo almost instantly.
Thrumble can also be bred in a breeding failures. Some combinations that result in a Thrumble in a breeding failure include:
- + Thrumble and Rare Thrumble
(Best choice, 100% chance of a Thrumble if Rare Thrumble is unavailable)
- + Thrumble and Plinkajou
(Good choice, very small chance of getting Plinkajou)
Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Thrumble:
- Phangler (requires level 9)
- Sooza (level 9) ()
- Bisonorus (level 9) ()
- Gnarls (level 9) (,)
- Tub Fountain (level 26) ()
- Bottomless Pit (level 18) ()
- Dragon Tower (level 20) (,)
See the Likes page to view a complete list of all Monsters' likes.
Note: Thrumble only likes Gnarls on Amber Island, and not on Bone Island. Also, on Amber Island, all of Thrumble's likes are only obtainable for a limited time. Amber Vessels must be revitalized before they count towards Thrumble's happiness.

Revitalizing[]
On Amber Island, Thrumble must be powered up rather than being bred. Unlike Wublins and Celestials, the allotted time to fill a Vessel does not start when the first egg is zapped, but are instead are only available to purchase and fill at select times. The inventory must be completed in this time. When a purchased vessel is incomplete after the time, it will disappear and half of the relics spent will be given back. You will also get the option to revive Thrumble by purchasing the missing eggs with Diamonds. Eggs can be zapped from Mirror Islands instead of, or in conjunction with Natural and Magical Islands.

Filling In[]
Like other Monsters on Amber Island, Thrumble can instead be filled in with Diamonds. Each egg can be filled in for 40. Thrumble requires a total of 1,360 for all eggs to be filled.
Since all eggs have an equal Diamond fill cost, it is best to save your Diamonds for the Monsters that are harder to obtain. And oftentimes, it is cheaper to speed up eggs to zap from the Breeding Structure instead.
Wildcards may also be used when filling in a Thrumble's inventory. Similarly, it's best to save them for harder to obtain Monsters.

Used in Breeding[]
Thrumble is used in the following breeding combinations: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Statistics[]
Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]
Earning rate is in Coins per minute or Relics per month (28 days) and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.
Though the Relic Rate and Maximum is displayed in-game as a whole number value, internally these are decimal values. Where such values have been empirically found, they are provided in the table. When collecting from Thrumble, you will only receive the whole number value generated.
Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

More info can be found in the Feeding article.
Egg Consumption[]
- Main article: Zapping
While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Vessels can be used to "dispose of" Thrumble eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Vessels; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Thrumble eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs.

Notes[]
- Thrumble's name is a portmanteau between "Thrum" (a continuous humming sound) and "Rumble".
- Strangely, Thrumble sees absolutely no design changes since its Dawn of Fire debut. It has no resolution changes, as many people were expecting.
- However, its egg had a design change in which the fins went from orange (Dawn of Fire) to a pinkish color. (My Singing Monsters)
- This is likely because Young Thrumble had orange fins, and Adult Thrumble has the same pinkish color as the egg.
- Thrumble, Incisaur, and Flum Ox all inhabit the same islands, even in Dawn of Fire.
- Season 2, Episode 1 of Quick Questions states various facts about Thrumble:
- Thrumble’s feet act as suction cups, although they are less developed than the ones found on Scups.
- Thrumble is capable of elongating its neck to survey its surroundings. To what extent it can do this is unknown.
- Thrumble's hands share many similarities with the real world sloth, as they both share three sharply clawed fingers that they use to climb trees.
