The Exploratory Compendium of Monstrology is a video series hosted by Monster-Handler Ally on My Singing Monsters' official YouTube channel. The series started on June 2nd, 2023, and is currently ongoing with a total of seven episodes. The series is formatted with each episode talking about the lore of a specific Monster. It has a voiceover by Monster-Handler Ally, as well as a drawing time lapse of the Monster.

Episode 1[]
Season 1, Episode 1 covers G'joob, and reveals several new types of flora present in the Monster World.
Episode 2[]
Season 1, Episode 2 covers Strombonin. This episode reveals that the Strombone will hum a quiet melody, or "congenial croon," to the Strombonin, calming its larger half.
Episode 3[]
Season 1, Episode 3 covers the Shugafam. It is revealed that the Monsters sing karaoke when they are not singing on their Island. It also confirms that Tropical Slime exists in the modern Monster World.
Episode 4[]
Season 1, Episode 4 covers Adult Scaratar. It is revealed that Adult Scaratar uses a castile cloth with a special toxin to polish and give its instrument wood a unique glimmer. It is also revealed that its insects taught Young Scaratar how to harness its element, and use its special toxins to transform its instrument into a new ornate version. The insects now live inside the hollow parts of Adult Scaratar's instrument.
Episode 5[]
Season 1, Episode 5 covers Rare Ffidyll. It is revealed that it is obsessed with avoiding bad luck, and that the Rare Ffidyll is so weary of misfortune, that it has developed into a very skittish being. It reveals that Rare Ffidyll is also a strong believer in the power of opposites, holding sway over one's fortune. It is also revealed that Rare Ffidyll is most eased during the Autumnal Equinox, and that the stones and minerals found on Faerie Island possess different magical properties, and that the Rare Ffidyll uses them as amulets, or talisman, in an effort to ward off any misfortune.

Episode 1[]
Season 2, Episode 1 covers Adult Hornacle. It is revealed that Adult Hornacle has lost its leg from a hungry juvenile form of the Glubber titan that accidentally latched onto its leg and ate it while it was searching for the Gift of Glub. Adult Hornacle, being part starfish, thought the limb would grow back and did not even try to fight it off.
