My Singing Monsters Wiki
My Singing Monsters

Some Monsters can be teleported to another island when they are fed to a certain level. For most islands, the minimum level required for teleporting a Monster is level 15, with the exceptions of The Colossingum, which only requires level 5, and the Ethereal Islets, which only require level 14. When a Monster is teleported, it permanently leaves the island it was born on and is moved to the new island, turning back into an egg and going into the empty Nursery or Egg Cup on the destination island. This also resets the Monster's level down to 1 and removes the Monster from Gold Island, if it is placed there.

At present, this process cannot be reversed. That is, after a Monster is teleported to another island, it can't be returned to its original home.

Teleporting may also change a Monster's breeding and incubation times, as the destination islands have different features than the ones of the home islands, and may enable other characteristics not available on the monster's birthplace. However, a monster's nickname and costumes will remain unchanged on the new island.

Teleporting eligible Monsters is also feasible on the Mirror Islands, which follow the same teleporting rules of the islands that they mirror. This makes Mirror Island breeding a great way to obtain Monsters to teleport, if one is preoccupied with breeding on the Natural or Magical Islands.

Shugabush Island Monsters[]

Eligible Monsters can only be teleported to Shugabush Island if they reside on the Natural Islands or their Mirror counterparts. If an elligible Monster resides on the Fire Islands, or the Magical Islands and their Mirror counterparts, it can not be teleported to Shugabush Island. It's unknown if that will be subject to change in the future.

Seasonal Shanty Monsters[]

Seasonal Monsters (whether Core, Aux. or Seasonals) can be teleported to Seasonal Shanty from their "home Islands". Nevertheless, this doesn't include Viveine on Amber Island and Monculus on Wublin Island, and Jam Boree on Gold Island (where instead this monster may be placed if a level 15 Jam Boree is present on Seasonal Shanty).

Ethereal Islet Monsters[]

The Colossingum Monsters[]

As of Version 4.1.0, all 30 common Natural Monsters, the Single and Double Element Ethereals, and the 5 Core Seasonals can be teleported to The Colossingum upon reaching Level 5. These monsters can be teleported from any of the islands they are available on, which includes the Natural and Mirror Islands, the Fire Islands, the Magical Islands, Shugabush Island, Seasonal Shanty, Ethereal Island, and the Ethereal Islets. Monsters cannot be teleported anywhere after they are placed on The Colossingum.

Transposing[]

Transposing is a mechanic in My Singing Monsters, introduced in Version 4.2.0, used to obtain Monsters on Magical Nexus and single element Paironormals on Paironormal Carnival. Transposing is similar to Teleporting. In order to be Transposed, a Monster on must be fed to at least Level 18, and Currency must be also spent. When a Monster is Transposed, it will be sent to the Stair Shaper on Magical Nexus / "Nursery" of the Beyond on the Paironormal Carnival depending on what your transposing.

With Paironormals, you can transpose both forms, however you can only hatch them in the same island mode the monster resonates with (Ex. transposing a Minor Owlesque will only be able to be placed on the Minor Mode of Paironormal Carnival). Looking at the egg from the opposite mode shows a yellow (Major Mode) / blue (Minor Mode) egg that looks similar to the Paironormal Projections and can't be hatched on that side.

Costs[]

It costs Coins to Transpose Common Monsters, and Diamonds to Transpose Rare & Epic Monsters.

  • Common Single-Element Paironormals: 100,000
  • Common Single-Element Magicals: 1,000,000
  • Common Double-Element Magicals: 2,000,000
  • Common Triple-Element Magicals: 4,000,000
  • Common Quad-Element Magicals: 8,000,000
  • Rare Single-Element Magicals: 5
  • Rare Double-Element Magicals: 10
  • Rare Triple-Element Magicals: 20
  • Rare Quad-Element Magicals: 40
  • Epic Single-Element Magicals: 10

Alterations in Breeding Mechanics[]

As the monsters' breeding capabilities may be altered after Teleportation, you may not be able to use the same breeding combinations available on the Natural Islands to obtain a Rare Monster. For example, on Cold Island, you can breed a Furcorn and a Quibble to get a Deedge. However, after the Furcorn and Quibble are teleported to Shugabush Island, they cannot be bred together; all breeding combinations on Shugabush Island must include Shugabush itself. A Deedge must either be fed to Level 15 on Cold or Mirror Cold Island and teleported or bought from the Market.

The same change does not occur on Ethereal Island, Mythical Island, or Seasonal Shanty, as Ethereals, Mythicals, and Seasonals can't be used for breeding on their original islands in the first place.

Notes[]

  • Rare and Epic Monsters can be teleported exactly like Common Monsters, except to The Colossingum.
  • Epic Ghazt was the first Epic Monster able to teleport.
  • Natural Monsters on the Fire or Magical Islands can't be teleported to Shugabush Island. This is weird, considering that they can be teleported to The Colossingum from any island, and both it and Shugabush Island are located on the Seam.
  • Transposing is named after the musical term of transposing.
