Collect-All Button[]
I'm finally getting production on Amber Island and it made me think, if I select the collect-all button, will that reset the monsters who are in mid-cycle? I'm making up this example, but let's say I have two monsters. One has the collection icon above its head, and one is only 3 days into an 8-day cycle with no collection icon (in 5 more days it will have a collection icon). If I select the collect-all button, did I just reset BOTH monsters back to day 1? I understand that I won't collect anything from the second monster, I just don't want to lose its 3 days of production. Thisisfutile (talk) 22:22, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
- I think the only way to find out is to test it. Maybe wait until one day after you collect its amber so that if it does reset it, you only lose one day instead of three. Though, if I had to guess, it would only take the amber that's ready. Taf04 (talk) 02:21, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- I actually just experienced this! Last night, I did a collect-all. Tonight, I went back to the island and another Relic is available. Indeed, the hidden-timer keeps working as you would expect. *WHEW* I thought I may have wiped out days' worth of relic production. Oh, and thanks for the reply. I was beginning to think I was the only user active on these 'talk' pages. Thisisfutile (talk) 03:11, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- I'm not really active on the talk pages (though that's usually because no one else really uses them either, we usually just use the discussion board). I just happen to have Amber Island on my watch list (since I don't uncheck that box whenever I make an edit), which includes the talk page. I actually had to learn how to reply to a talk page to respond to this (which is how I learned about the signature thing). Taf04 (talk) 03:38, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for the tip. I'll start paying more attention to the discussion board...I've posted a couple times there and frankly forgot about it. Thisisfutile (talk) 22:52, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
The article is too bloated[]
I want to hear from other people, but on my device it struggles to load the entire article and takes even minutes for it to fully load up because of all the monsters and they’re required inventory. I think it would be a good idea to make those tables collapsible, so the article can load fast faster

- I've also noticed this as well. I have a PC so I don't get that much lag but the article is a bit big. It might be because of the large amount of images on the page, especially in the Indigenous Monsters section. I also added a Wave History section a few weeks ago that helped clarify some information but I don't know if it could've caused any problems. - Orangutanbestmonke63 (talk) 21:01, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
- I have a proposal. I might remove the Likes section. I'm not exactly sure about this, but it will definitely free up space. The information is already on the Likes page but it's not explicitly said that its from Amber Island. - Orangutanbestmonke63 (talk) 20:50, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
