My Singing Monsters

Syncopite is a Diamond in the rough: unpolished and unrefined, yet glistening with an immense potential concealed inside its crude frame. The rugged Celestial has a surprisingly magnetic personality, capable of uniting its fellow Monsters and forging rock-solid friendships. Unfortunately, this inherent magnetism can be troublesome for the mineralized Monster, whose thoughts are frequently interrupted by the sudden collision of stones against its crystalline cranium.

Description[]

Syncopite is a Celestial Monster representing the Crystal Element and the month of May. It was added on July 27th, 2018 during Version 2.2.1. Syncopite is obtained by being purchased in the Market for 90 Diamonds as an inactive statue, which can be revived by zapping all required Monster Eggs into it. It has the same currency production rate as the other Young Celestial Monsters. The Goal for placing your first Syncopite rewards the player with 25 Diamonds.

Song[]

Audio Samples:

Instrument: Synthesized drum kit

Syncopite's song is a series of rhythmic beats and a hi-hat type sound.

VSTs[]

Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.

Breeding[]

Syncopite cannot be bred. Like all Celestials, it is bought at the Market as an inactive statue that must be woken up.

Reviving[]

The allotted time to fill a Syncopite in order to activate is 11 days. If the inventory is not completed in the time the Syncopite resets to an empty statue and all eggs inside are lost. Eggs can be zapped from Mirror Islands instead of, or in conjunction with Natural and Magical Islands.

Filling In[]

Like other Celestials, Syncopite can instead be filled in with Diamonds. Each egg can be filled in for 40Diamonds. Syncopite requires a total of 6,960Diamonds for all eggs to be filled.

Since all eggs have an equal Diamond fill cost, it is best to save your Diamonds for the Monsters that are harder to obtain. And oftentimes, it is cheaper to speed up eggs to zap from the Breeding Structure instead.

Wildcards may also be used when filling in a Syncopite's inventory. Similarly, it's best to save them for harder to obtain Monsters.

Income[]

Syncopite, like all other Celestials, will produce coins, diamonds, food, and shards, but at no specified rate, although always less than a day.

Multiple Syncopites may produce any of these four currencies independently from each other: Coins (Coins), Shards (Shards), Treats (Treats), and Diamonds (Diamonds).

Strategy[]

Players with high level Monsters and permanent Wishing Torches should avoid using a breeding combination of a Four-Element and a Three-Element Monsters to get a Three-Element Monster egg, because the chances of obtaining an Ethereal Monster that will block the breeding structure for a long time are high. Unless a respective Rare Monster is available, it is better to breed Three-element Monster with another 1, 2 or 3-Element Monster consumed by Syncopite. Here is a possible strategy listed below:

Strategy by g30m37rycr4f7:

  • This strategy requires all 5 Natural and Mirror Islands, the Fire Islands, and the Magical Islands.
  • All or no Breeding Structures are assumed to be Enhanced in order to synchronize new breeding starts.
  • Each column is 2 hours (or 1 hr 30 mins with Enhanced Breeding Structures).
  • For Monsters with a breeding time shorter than one column, multiples are listed.
  • It takes slightly more than 1 day, less than a tenth of the Syncopite's time limit (11 days).
  • The reason why the Triple-Element Monsters are at the end of the chart is because the breeding happens during your sleep.
  • Before you start the breeding process on Cold and Plant islands, use 8 Breeding Structures on those Islands to continuously breed Toe Jammers in a cycle.

Notes[]

  • Syncopite's name comes from Syncopation and -ite, a suffix that's usually used in the scientific names of minerals. It could also be based on "Cinco", which is the Spanish word for five, in which Syncopite represents the fifth month of the year, May.
  • Syncopite was first teased in the YouTube video, The Preposterous Case Of The Pesky Prankster.
  • It, like all Celestials that represent an Ethereal Element, requires all of the Natural Monsters from its respective Ethereal's Island - in this case being Water Island.
    • It was also the first Ethereal Celestial to be brought to the main game.
  • Syncopite requires the most eggs of a single monster out of any Celestial, at 75 Noggins.
  • Syncopite "was the result of the Primordial Cosmic Hush being compressed and collapsing under its own weight to form a dense luminous mass."
  • Syncopite can control time.[citation needed]
