Supernatural Monsters are unique because they must "wake up" before being able to sing or produce Currency. They are divided in two types: Wublins, who are wake up by absorbing Eggs, and Wubboxes, who wake up be absorbing Monsters of specific Classes.
Also unlike most monsters, the Supernatural Monsters have more than one life stage. The Wubbox has three life stages: the egg, the "dormant" box, and the active adult. The Wublins have two stages: a "dormant" statue and active awakened form. This system was later used for the Celestials on Celestial Island.
So far, twenty-one supernatural monsters have been released, the first being the Wubbox.
According to My Singing Monsters, the Wubbox and Rare Wubbox are "Base Supernatural" Monsters, and the Wublins are just "Wublins". The Wubbox and Wublins are activated differently, so this may be why. They both have the Supernatural class and Electicity Element.

Active Wubboxes (Rare or not) are the only Supernatural Monster that can be fed (but not on Wublin Island). The Wublins cannot be fed.
Each monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the monster's level increases the coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum coins earned.
