Even though the Stone Drum doesn't have the musical type when viewed in the Market, it still makes a sound when tapped in View Mode. The Stone Drum makes a loud drum sound, less resonant than the Log Drum's sound.

- Along with the Log Drum, Tamborine Trampoline, and Gaung Tree, the Stone Drum is a scrapped Decoration from My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire.
- When it first released, the Stone Drum had a slightly different appearance between the Fan Kit and in-game, having more defined outlines in-game. It was changed on an unknown date to be more consistent with its Fan Kit appearance.
- On February 28, 2024, the Stone Drum was made much larger. Previously, it only took up a 2x2 square of physical space, despite being a 3x3 decoration.
