“ | As avid rock collectors, Stoggs relish digging into the earth with their powerful forelegs to find shiny new minerals. Unfortunately this absentminded monster also enjoys burying their treasure, often forgetting the location soon after. | ” |

Description
Stogg is a double-element Fire Monster that is first unlocked on Fire Haven. It was added on November 21st, 2018 during the 2.2.4 Fire Haven update. It is best obtained by breeding Noggin and Kayna. By default, its breeding time is 10 hours long. As a Double Elemental, Stogg does not have a high coin production.
On Amber Island, Stogg is only available at select times. When available, it is obtained by purchasing in the Market for 10 as a vessel, which then can be revitalized by zapping eggs into it.
Song
Audio Sample:
Instrument: Electric synthesizer
VST(s):
"Evolving Sequence" from Halion's "Halion Sonic Factory Content" Instrument Set (Fire Haven, Faerie Island, Bone Island)
??? (Amber Island)
The Stogg's song is an electric synthesizer sound. As it plays, its spikes flash with each note, and the zigzag line on its side moves like a sound visualizer.
Breeding
It can be bred with the elements Fire and Earth. There is only one breeding combination:
Note that breeding double element Fire elementals in the original MSM game are not successful as double-element non-Fire breeding. There sometimes can be breeding failures but you'll still get a Stogg.
Likes
Every monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the monster, the monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a monster will still only increase its happiness by 25%. If there's a Unity Tree on the island, items don't need to be near the monsters. Below are the things liked by Stogg:
- Tring (requires level 9) (
)
- Mammott (level 2) (

Powering Up
On Amber Island, Stogg must be powered up rather than being bred. Unlike Wublins and Celestials, the allotted time to fill a Vessel does not start when the first egg is zapped, but are instead are only available to purchase and fill at select times. The inventory must be completed in this time. When a purchased vessel is incomplete after the time, it will disappear and half of the relics spent will be given back. You will also get the option to revive Stogg by purchasing the missing eggs with Diamonds.

Statistics
Earning Rate and Maximum Income
Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.
Feeding Monsters
Each monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the monster's level increases the coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum coins earned.

Egg Consumption
While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials and Vessels can be used to "dispose of" Stogg eggs immediately instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available.

Note that bred Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" into inactive Celestials and Vessels; active ones do not accept Monster eggs. Also note that inactive Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Stogg eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs.

Notes
- Stogg's name is a portmanteau of stegosaurus and dog. The name also may be derived from .ogg audio files.
- On Fire Haven, the Stogg plays the 2nd part of Plant Island faintly.
- When Fire Haven was first released, Stogg wasn't centered into its grid, instead of standing in front of it. This also applies to Thrumble.
- As of Update 2.3.6, it and its Rare counterpart are now centered into their grids.
- According to the Bone Island teaser, Stogg likes to chase after bones similar to dogs in the real world.
- It is the only instrumental fire double element, as Glowl, Flowah, Phangler and Boskus are all vocalist fire double elements
- When Wave 4 was released on Amber Island, there was a bug that made it look like it plays its track with Flowah and Barrb, but there was no sound as it was not intended to play its part there. This also similarly happened with Deedge and Congle upon the release of Maggpi on Cold Island.
