Strategy[]

Before you begin, make sure to train all of your Monsters to level 20. Otherwise, these strategies will not work.

When there is a single-Element Natural Monster on the opponent's team, and your single-Element Monster does not have a move that is strong against it, it is recommended to use a weak attack from a strong Monster such as your Seasonal or Ethereal to lower its stamina to as close as zero as possible, then use your own Noggin to knock it out. This ensures minimal damage on your strong Monster, and allows your relatively weaker Noggin, who is now dead weight, to tank the subsequent hit from a strong Monster. This strategy is effective on all stages except 6 where stamina is tight.

  • Stages 1, 3, 5, and 7 have little strategy. Since they are mirror matchups in terms of Monsters used, both sides should deal the same amount of damage (if probability does not throw off either side).
  • Stage 2: Played like Stage 1 except for the fact that Noggin has no Costumes with Cold coverage. Use Choral Ensemble with your Quarrister to lower Mammott's stamina as close to zero as possible. Then knock it out with your Noggin and use it as dead weight against the Entbrat. Subsequently, pitch your remaining Monsters against their equivalent on the opposing team, i.e. Quarrister -> Entbrat, Hoola -> Yool. Once the Entbrat has taken two attacks, use your Hoola to knock it out. Then finish the match like normal, making sure you keep BOTH Quarrister and Hoola awake for as long as possible. If any of your three Monsters fail to knock out their counterpart, restart.
  • Stage 4: Use a Humbug WITHOUT the Big Fungus Costume (as although it is a stronger Poison attack than Toxic Trait, it comes at the cost of its needed Earth move). At the start of the battle, use Humbug's Foreign Contaminant move to lower Mammott's stamina as close to zero as possible. (Noggin does not have an unlockable move to cover its weakness like the other Singles do.) Then knock it out with Noggin and allow it to tank the hit from Entbrat. From here on, pitch Humbug against Entbrat by using Toxic Trait. If you do not want to waste a heal, you can use Woozy Wingbeat for the first hit. (Foreign Contaminant may be a better possibility since it is still stronger on average despite being weak against an Entbrat.) Once Entbrat is knocked out, switch to Quarrister and pitch it against the Ghazt. If your Quarrister is knocked out, use Humbug to finish off the Ghazt.
  • Stage 6: As usual, stage 6 is the most difficult, being almost completely reliant on RNG. Use a Humbug WITHOUT Big Fungus, as this gives you a stronger move that is not weak against the Ghazt. As with Stage 2, pitch your Monsters against their equivalent. If any of your Monsters fail to knock out their equivalent, restart. Good RNG is required - if the Ghazt uses even one Plasma move, it will greatly damage your Humbug while healing itself an exorbitant amount. In order to win, you will have to hope that the Ghazt only uses Orb Swatter. An alternative strategy is to pitch Humbug against Yool and have Hoola deal the finishing blow and tank a Ghazt hit. From here, use Hoola against Ghazt, as a healing move against Hoola is less disastrous, then deal finishing blows with Humbug.
  • Stage 8: As usual, use a Humbug WITHOUT the Big Fungus Costume (as although it is a stronger Poison attack than Toxic Trait, it comes at the cost of its needed Earth move). Use all three Monsters to battle the Entbrat in order that no Monsters may be knocked out. Use your Humbug against the Yool since it is useless against the Ghazt, save for the final hit if the Ghazt had never knocked it out. Once the Yool is knocked out, use Quarrister and Hoola alternatively against the Ghazt. If your Humbug is still awake, use it for the final blow.
