My Singing Monsters

The scintillating pool located on the Sneyser's hindquarters casts an enchanting glow on the walls of its crater, but it's best to appreciate this spectacle at a distance. One sneeze from a Sneyser with hay fever, and that serene puddle will burst into an explosive geyser!
Monster Bio

Description[]

Sneyser is a Quad-Element Fire Monster exclusive to Fire Oasis and Amber Island. It was added on June 19th, 2019 during the 2.3.0 Fire Oasis Update. It is best obtained by breeding Woolabee and Toe Jammer. By default, its breeding time is 1 day and 16 hours long. Sneyser has excellent Coin production, only being surpassed by its Rare and Epic variants and Mimic. The Goal for placing your first Sneyser rewards the player with 100,000 Coins and 4 Relics.

On Amber Island, Sneyser is only available at select times. When available, it is obtained by purchasing in the Market for 30 Relics as a Vessel, which then can be revitalized by zapping eggs into it. As a Quad-Elemental, Sneyser has an excellent Relic production.

Song[]

Audio Samples:

Staccato (Memory Game; Fire Oasis):

Held (Amber Island):

Instrument: Synth Bass

Sneyser plays an extremely low pitched bass synth sound, so low that without high quality headphones or speakers, it can be near impossible to hear.

On Fire Oasis, Sneyser plays staccato notes that follow the same beat as Mammott's singing, but it also plays where Tweedle and Glowl sing.

On Amber Island, it plays long, deep notes during Yelmut's part.

VSTs[]

Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.

Fire Oasis

VST: HALion 6
Sound library: HS SE Basic
SoundFont: Bass Synth Sequence

Amber Island (Track 2)

VST: HALion
Sound library: HALion Sonic Factory
SoundFont: Dark Thump Bass

The VST for Sneyser's first track on Amber Island has not yet been found.

Breeding[]

Sneyser can be bred using monsters that combine to provide all the elements Air, Water, Cold and Fire without repeating any.

The following pairs of Double-Element Monsters can be used to breed a Sneyser:

However, the combination of a Triple-Element Monster with a Single-Element Monster has a higher rate of success:

Of these, Woolabee+Toe Jammer is the best combination, as failing and breeding a Toe Jammer lets you retry the combo almost instantly. Congle+Kayna is a close second, because it has low average times in case of failure.

There is also a small chance of producing a Sneyser from a failed breeding attempt, using a Sneyser and a non-Single Element Monster.

The Rare version of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the common version.

Breeding a Sneyser with a Phangler has an increased chance of getting a Sneyser, due to this also being the combo for Epic Kayna. In order to make it harder to get Epic Kayna, the combo has a higher chance to give Sneysers as breeding failures. This still happens if Epic Kayna is available or not.

(Best choice, 100% chance of a Sneyser if Rare Sneyser is unavailable)

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Sneyser:

See the Likes page to view a complete list of all Monsters' likes.

Note: On Amber Island, all of Sneyser's likes are only obtainable for a limited time. Amber Vessels must be revitalized before they count towards Sneyser's happiness.

Monsters Who Like It[]

The following Monster(s) will increase their happiness by 25% when being placed near Sneyser or when Sneyser and a Unity Tree are on the Island. These may or may not also be Sneyser's likes as well:

Revitalizing[]

On Amber Island, Sneyser must be powered up rather than being bred. Unlike Wublins and Celestials, the allotted time to fill a Vessel does not start when the first egg is zapped, but instead are only available to purchase and fill at select times. The inventory must be completed in this time. When a purchased vessel is incomplete after the time, it will disappear and half of the relics spent will be given back. You will also get the option to revive Sneyser by purchasing the missing eggs with Diamonds. Eggs can be zapped from Mirror Islands instead of, or in conjunction with Natural and Magical Islands.

Filling In[]

Like other Monsters on Amber Island, Sneyser can instead be filled in with Diamonds. Each egg can be filled in for 40Diamonds. Sneyser requires a total of 920Diamonds for all eggs to be filled.

Since all eggs have an equal Diamond fill cost, it is best to save your Diamonds for the Monsters that are harder to obtain. And oftentimes, it is cheaper to speed up eggs to zap from the Breeding Structure instead.

Wildcards may also be used when filling in a Sneyser's inventory. Similarly, it's best to save them for harder to obtain Monsters.

Statistics[]

Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]

Earning rate is in Coins per minute or Relics per month (28 days) and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.

Egg Consumption[]

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials and Vessels can be used to "dispose of" Sneyser eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials and Vessels; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Sneyser eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs.

Notes[]

  • Sneyser's name seems to be a portmanteau of the words "sneeze" and "geyser".
  • Sneyser was revealed to be reintroduced in the Fire Oasis reveal.
  • Sneyser has the same art style as the My Singing Monsters: Composer eggs, the revived Celestials, and Jammer Splash. In MSM Live, it was revealed that was because it was re-designed by Randy van der Vlag.
  • Unlike in Dawn of Fire:
    • Sneyser plays short notes on Fire Oasis, like Vhamp on Celestial Island.
    • Sneyser's nose no longer drips lava while idle.
    • Sneyser produces bubbles in its geyser, while in Dawn of Fire, this is not present in its idle animation.
    • Sneyser's cheeks puff up when it plays.
  • When Fire Oasis was first released, Sneyser had some animation errors, notably on its tail and geyser bubbles. Those errors have since been fixed.
  • According to the Orangeglass Path description, Sneyser has a "leathery hide".
  • A group of Sneysers is called a "sternutation."[citation needed]
  • Sneyser is one of the only Fire Monsters to have a complete redesign in the main game.
  • Sneyser is the only Quad-Elemental Monster to physically represents all its elements.
    • Air - Blown from its snout. Could also be the steam from its geyser.
    • Water - The geyser on its back.
    • Cold - The ice crystals around its neck.
    • Fire - The heat inside its snout.
  • Sneyser goes to more Islands than any other Fire Quad. It can be found on a total of five islands across both games, alongside Krillby.
  • Sneyser is the first Quad-Elemental Monster that was already introduced in the base game to be available on Amber Island.
