This is the main article for Single Element Monsters. For the category, see Category:Single Element Monsters.

Single Element Monsters represent one of the Natural, Fire, Magical, or Ethereal elements, that is, Earth, Cold, Water, Plant, Air, Fire, Psychic, Faerie, Bone, Plasma, Shadow, Mech, Crystal or Poison. These elements are the basis for all other Natural Monsters, Fire Monsters, Magical Monsters or Ethereal Monsters.

Single Element Monsters (except for Ethereals) can all be purchased from the market with coins at any time, except for Kayna that uses Relics, as long as the level requirement for each is met.

Natural Single element monsters (except for Kayna) are available on only four of the five Natural Islands since each of those islands has only four of the five natural elements present. The same is true for Mirror Islands.

Common Single Element Monsters

Single Element Monsters are the first monsters encountered in the game. They are available for purchase from the market and are the lowest priced monsters. Breeding adventures on each island begin with these monsters.

The simplest and least time consuming method to get a basic single element monster is to buy it from the market. However, in certain situations, the more advanced player may want to breed one.

  • If a Rare single element Monster is available for breeding, you can attempt to breed one by breeding two 3 element Monsters which both contain the same element as the single element monster that you want to produce. An example of this is breeding a Congle with a Spunge in hopes of a Tweedle/Rare Tweedle. All three Monsters have the Air element which would make this possible. Rare Monsters have the same element(s) as Commons. There can be three outcomes from this breeding. 1) It may produce a regular single element monster. 2) It may produce a Rare version if available. 3) It may produce one of the 3 element parents.
  • You can breed a single-element Monster with its Rare counterpart (unless it is a Seasonal monster) to produce another regular single-element every time, but it will never produce another Rare version.
