Description[]

Shugabass is a member of the Legendary Shugafam class of Monsters, and is exclusive to Shugabush Island. It was added on December 10th, 2013 during Version 1.2.4. It is best obtained by breeding Shugabush and Potbelly. By default, its incubation time is 1 day and 11 hours long. Despite being an elusive Legendary Monster, Shugabass does not have a high Coin production. The Goal for placing your first Shugabass rewards the player with 100,000 .

Feeding Monsters[]

Notes[]

Shugabass' name is a portmanteau of the band "Sugarland" and the instrument in which it plays, "bass guitar".
On December 9th, 2013, Big Blue Bubble tweeted: "A certain Special Edition Monster is arriving on Cold Island very soon… but what else is coming? Find out this week!". This was teasing the release of Shugabass.
Shugabass replaces the Castle's bass sound.
Shugabass and Yool are the only Monsters to like only two Decorations.
- Coincidentally, they were both teased in the tweet above.
Shugabass' bio stating that its slow movements allow for fungus to grow in its fur may refer to a similar trait in sloths, which can move slowly enough to allow algae to grow in their fur.
