|“||Rootitoots are natural-born hosts, blessing many a soirée with a knack for storytelling, an enviable wit, and general zest for life. A Rootitoot's dinner party traditionally offers as many dishes as it can carry upon its tubular vents, doubled. But don't overburden this Monster... oh, great... you had to have the Biiiiig Salad!||”|

Rootitoot is a triple-element Fire Monster exclusive to Psychic Island. It was added on September 4th, 2019 during the 2.3.2 Psychic Island update. It is best obtained by breeding Flowah and Toe Jammer. By default, its breeding time is 20 hours long. As a Fire Triple Elemental, Rootitoot has decent coin production, though Gloptic is recommended.
Much like its counterpart in DoF, Rootitoot uses the tube-like branches on its head to play an Oboe-like melody. It plays alongside Phangler, Kayna and Oaktopus.
It plays its song in this pattern:
G A D, G B A D, G A D C.
Rootitoot requires the elements of Plant, Water and Fire. Breeding combinations are as follows:
The best combination is Flowah and Toe Jammer as you either succeed in getting a Rootitoot, get a Flowah that can be sold for 112.5k coins, or get a Toe Jammer, allowing you to retry almost instantly.
Rootitoot can also be bred in a breeding failures. Some combinations that result in a Rootitoot in a breeding failure include:
- + Rootitoot and Rare Rootitoot
(Best choice, 100% chance of a Rootitoot if Rare Rootitoot is unavailable)
- + Rootitoot and Gloptic
(Good choice, very small chance of getting Gloptic)
Every monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the monster, the monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a monster will still only increase its happiness by 25%. If there's a Unity Tree on the island, items don't need to be near the monsters. Below are the things liked by Rootitoot:

Used in Breeding
|Rootitoot is used in the following breeding combinations:|
Earning Rate and Maximum Income
Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.
Each monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the monster's level increases the coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum coins earned.
|The food per level table:|
More info can be found in the Feeding article.
While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Rootitoot can be used to "dispose of" Rootitoot eggs immediately instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available.
Note that bred Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" into inactive Rootitoot; active ones do not accept Monster eggs. Also note that inactive Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rootitoot eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs.
Possible Monster Names

- Rootitoot's name may be a mix between the words: Root, and Toot. Root because it is very tree-like, and trees have roots, and toot because you toot a horn, which is a wind instrument like the instrument the Rootitoot plays.
- It was the first Triple, and also the only new (reintroduced) Natural Monster to appear on Psychic Island. The same applies to Ziggurab on Faerie Island, Thrumble on Bone Island, and Sooza on Light Island.
- Rootitoot on a space-like island (Psychic Island) is possibly a reference to it being able to go on Space Island in Dawn of Fire.
- Unlike Dawn Of Fire, its track is divided into 3 parts instead of a continuous sound.
- It appears to be slightly shorter than it was on Dawn of Fire.
- The "Biiiiig Salad" in the Rootitoot's description is possibly a reference to a scene from Seinfeld.
