“ | In keeping with the biology of their coiffed-calved relatives, Roobas consume a holistic plant-based diet that not only gives them a lush green hue, but also a foliage-like consistency to their furthered body - and even accelerated hair growth! This naturalistic Monster will be happy to open your mind to a wild world of vegetation, from its fondness for fronds to its soft spot for sprouts. Just make sure to check for stray hairs before dining! | ” |

Description[]
Rooba is a Triple-Element Magical Monster exclusive to Psychic Island. It was added on September 25th, 2019 during Version 2.3.2. It is best obtained by breeding Yuggler and Potbelly. By default, its breeding time is 16 hours long. As a Triple-Elemental, Rooba has a somewhat decent Coin production.
Song[]
Audio Sample:
Instrument: Dilruba
Rooba plays a tune that sounds like a dilruba, sounding similar to other bowed string Monsters Bowgart and Fung Pray. If you listen closely, you can hear a wooden block sound.
VSTs[]
Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.
VST: PLAY
Sound library: EastWest Silk
SoundFont: Dilruba Sus Vib
Breeding[]
Rooba requires the elements of Plant (), Fire () and Psychic (). Breeding combinations are as follows:
- Of these, Yuggler+Potbelly is the best combination, as it has the shortest wait time per failed attempt.
Rooba can also be bred in a breeding failures. Some combinations that result in a Rooba in a breeding failure include:
- + Rooba and Rare Rooba
(Best choice, 100% chance of a Rooba if Rare Rooba is unavailable)
- + Rooba and Gloptic
(Good choice, very small chance of getting Gloptic)
Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rooba:
- Gloptic (requires level 9)
- Inverdigus Fern (level 25)
- Puffle Tree (level 14)
- Crumpler Tree (level 19) ()

Monsters Who Like It[]
The following Monster(s) will increase their happiness by 25% when being placed near Rooba or when Rooba and a Unity Tree are on the Island. These may or may not also be Rooba's likes as well:

Statistics[]
Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]
Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.
Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

More info can be found in the Feeding article.
Egg Consumption[]
While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials and Vessels can be used to "dispose of" Rooba eggs immediately instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials and Vessels; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rooba eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month.

Notes[]
- Rooba's name is derived from Dilruba, and possibly root, rhubarb, and rubato, following the oo a naming pattern of hOOla and sOOza (and to a lesser extent pOmpOm).
- Rooba is currently the only Pomily member that has never been on an island with another Pomily member.
- Rooba is the third Monster to bear a resemblance to PomPom (The other two being Hoola and Sooza, not including their Rare or Epic forms).
- It is also the second monster resembling PomPom that plays an instrument rather than singing. The other is Sooza.
- Out of all four, though, Rooba is the only one to play a string-like instrument.
- It is also the first and only (if TooToo is not counted) one to be a Magical Monster.
- Coincidentally, PomPom's Elements are the same ones that could be voted for as the fourth Element of Fire Frontier, which eventually became Psychic Island (where Rooba is on).
- Rooba's sleeping animation seems to be bugged, as it freezes when it goes through half the animation.
- There was a bug where all Monster Names for Rooba are actually names from Tapricorn, particularly evident when there are given names that are references to Tapricorn's biology rather than Rooba's. This was fixed as of October 4th, 2019.
- Rooba appears to be a hippie, because of its hair design and bandana.
- According to its in-game bio, Rooba is a vegetarian, like many hippies.
- Rooba is the last member of the Pomily to get a Rare variant.
- It's also the only Pomily member that does not have visible eyes.
