The recording button.
The Recording Function is a function that can be used in My Singing Monsters and Dawn of Fire. It was introduced to Dawn of Fire on its initial release and to My Singing Monsters as a full functional function in Version 2.0.3.
In both games, this function can only be used with devices that are iOS 10 and above. In My Singing Monsters, all compatible Android devices can use the Recording Function, but in Dawn of Fire, only the very latest operating systems of Android can use this Recording Function.

To start recording, go to Options, and tap the recording button at the bottom-left corner. Depending on your device, popups and other recording functionality on your device may appear allowing you to change settings and start recording. If the recording button starts flashing on and off, then you have successfully started recording.
To stop recording, interact with your device's recording feature; typically a stop button should appear.
Note: On Android, you will have to enable Google Play by tapping the game controller icon in the bottom left first, then exiting the Options screen and re-opening it to refresh. Gameplay can also be recorded through the Google Play Games app directly, and through the use of third-party Apps.

The Recording Function of Dawn of Fire operating
To start recording, click the arrow beside the "Shop" button, press "Options", then press "(name TBA)". It will start recording after a "Rec" appears on the left side of the screen. A pop-up may appear asking whether to record video, in-game sound and microphone; video and in-game sound; or record only video. Tap whichever choice you want and it will start recording after tapping whichever choice.
To stop recording, press the red square above the word "Rec". A finished video should pop up on screen; press "Save" to save the video.
