“ | Hitching a ride with its Common Seasonal cousin, the Rare Yool journeys to Cold Island each year to ring in the heart-warming Festival of Yay with its fellow Monsters. Legend says it was once a curmudgeonly loner, preferring to spend time by itself - but once it discovered the joy of friendship, it sprinkled its beard with scrumptious candy and resolved to hold the message of goodwill towards all Monsterkind in its heart, no matter the season. | ” |

Description[]
Rare Yool is a Rare Seasonal Monster that celebrates the Festival of Yay season and is found on Cold Island, Seasonal Shanty, and Gold Island. It was added on December 2nd, 2016, during version 2.0.3. As a Rare Seasonal Monster, it is only available at certain times across all Islands. It is best obtained by breeding Thumpies and Congle. By default, its breeding time is 1 day, 7 hours, and 45 minutes long. Although Rare Yool does not have good Coin production when collecting once per day, when collecting multiple times it can rival other Monsters such as Ethereals or Quad-Elements.
Rare Yool can either be teleported to Seasonal Shanty once fed to level 15, or bred with the same combination as its Common counterpart. Rare Yool has a high Coin production comparable to Hoola.

Breeding[]
Rare Yool like all Seasonals is only available for breeding during short time periods announced in the game.
There is only one combination in Cold Island:
On Seasonal Shanty, breeding a Yool with any other Monster can result in a Rare Yool instead of a Common Yool. However, breeding a Yool with an Aux. Seasonal is preferable, as it has a higher chance of getting another Yool than that of getting an Aux.:

Out of these, Yool + Monculus is the best combination, as it has the lowest waiting time in case of not resulting in a Rare Yool. Yool + Spurrit and Yool + Gobbleygourd are also good combinations, but they have slightly longer waiting times compared to Yool + Monculus. Once a Rare Yool is obtained, breeding it with a Common Yool can make it easier to breed another Rare Yool.
Availability[]
- For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability
Rare Yool, like all Rare Seasonals, is only available for short durations during their own season, a weekend Out-of-Season event (6 months apart) and during the Anniversary Month Celebration.
Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Yool:
- Yool (requires level 9)
- Harpsitree (level 14)
- Flappy Flag (level 9)
- Tree Forte Tower (level 17) (
)

Note: On Cold Island, Yool is only obtainable for a limited time, and it may not be possible to get Rare Yool to 100% happiness.
Statistics[]
Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]
Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.
Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.
