My Singing Monsters Wiki

Maybe it's a result of having spent too much time since being able to 'touch grass', but a certain group of bubblegum-pink Yelmuts are convinced that the Colossals have been awake this whole time and are actively reading their thoughts. That's why they've ditched their typical headgear and swapped them with tin foil hats (these ones are DEFINITELY hats), to protect their precious brainwaves. This unusual (some might say unhinged) belief traces its way back to the founder of the movement, a Rare Yelmut named Pocklebell famous for its unbridled imagination and alternate version of reality called Pocklebell's canon.

See Yelmut.

Breeding[]

Rare Yelmut cannot be bred. Instead, it must be purchased from the StarShop. On Amber Island, it must have evolved from a Common Yelmut that is at least level 4, via the Crucible.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster of the same rarity on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Yelmut:

See the Likes page to view a complete list of all Monsters' likes.

Note: On Amber Island, all of Rare Yelmut's likes are only obtainable for a limited time. Amber Vessels must be revitalized before they count towards Rare Yelmut's happiness.

Statistics[]

Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]

Earning rate is in Coins per minute or Relics per month (28 days) and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.

Note: Relic rates below level 4 are not possible in-game.

Notes[]

  • Rare Yelmut's design is based on the stereotype of conspiracy theorists who wear tin foil hats to protect themselves from government mind control and other electromagnetic waves.
    • In addition, the blue spikes that appear throughout its body may take some cues from the stereotypical design of a neckbeard.
  • Rare Yelmut was the first Rare Monster to be introduced on Amber Island.
  • Rare Yelmut's bio references the classical song "Canon in D" by Johann Pachelbel, often better known as "Pachelbel's Canon," the same song Gold Island is based on.
  • Rare Yelmut was the first Monster to be released that can not be purchased outright from the Market.
    • However, this is no longer true with the Fire Expansion update.
  • As the first Rare Monster to be exclusive to Amber Island, it was also the first Rare to only be obtainable if you have its Common counterpart.
  • At the end of the December 2022 episode of My Singing Monsters Live, all the Monster-Handlers were wearing tin foil hats, teasing at Rare Yelmut wearing a tin foil hat.
  • In Rare Yelmut's bio, it says that the reason it thinks that the Colossals have been awake the entire time may be a result of having spent too much time since being able to 'touch grass'. This may be a reference to the modern-day slang, often used to tell internet users to log off and experience reality.
  • Before version 4.1.1, Rare Yelmut's egg was unused in-game and only seen in the fan kit. This was changed in version 4.1.1 as Rare Yelmut was added to Light Island.
