It is best obtained by breeding T-Rox and Scups. By default, its breeding time is 1 day and 11 hours long. Rare Yawstrich has a decent Coin production compared to other Monsters on Air Island.

On Mythical Island, Rare Yawstrich is best obtained by teleporting when reaching to level 15, or by breeding with Cataliszt and Yawstrich. Rare Yawstrich has a decent Coin production compared to other Monsters on Mythical Island.

  • This title was formerly held by Rare G'joob at 2,983 days.
  • This will likely remain true for the forseeable future, as the only Monsters without Rares that are nearly as old are the Shugafam, which aren't likely to ever receive Rares.
• The bio stating that Rare Yawstrich buries its head in sand to style a feather-do is based off of the real-world myth that ostriches bury their heads in the ground when they are threatened.
• Despite its bio stating that 1 in 55 Yawstriches are born with the traits that define the Rare variant, the chance of obtaining one instead of a Common Yawstrich is much higher than that when it is available.
