When are you gonna come down? When are you going to land? Such are the questions asked of the Rare Whiz-bang, whose aeronautical ambitions stretch higher and further than the Common Glowbe-turned-Seasonal. It combines all of the various bands of the spectrum into one, but mystifyingly, its outward appearance contradicts the laws of color theory. Typically, you'd expect all colors of light to combine into white, but the Rare Whiz-bang glows instead with an emphatic golden yellow. This phenomenon is still being researched, but in the mean time, it makes for a stunning chromatic display near the year's end, augmented by the multicolored streamers, goggles and cape the Rare Seasonal dons for the occasion.
Monster Bio

Description[]

Rare Whiz-bang is a Rare Seasonal Monster that celebrates the SkyPainting season and is found on Light Island and Seasonal Shanty. It was added alongside Adult Hornacle on December 27th, 2023 during Version 4.1.2. As a Rare Seasonal Monster, it is only available at certain times across all Islands. On Light Island, it is best obtained by breeding Blow't and Spytrap. By default, its breeding time is 1 day, 7 hours, and 45 minutes long. Rare Whiz-bang has a high Coin production.

Rare Whiz-bang can either be teleported to Seasonal Shanty once fed to level 15, or bred with the same combination as its Common counterpart. Rare Whiz-bang has a decent Coin production compared to other Monsters on Seasonal Shanty.

Breeding[]

Rare Whiz-bang, like all Seasonals, is only available for breeding during short time periods announced in the game. It can be bred in the same way as a Common Whiz-bang. The combinations are:

Additionally, on Seasonal Shanty, breeding Whiz-bang with any other Monster can result in a Rare Whiz-bang. In particular:

Whiz-bang + Monculus is the best combination, as it has the lowest waiting time in case of not resulting in a Rare Whiz-bang. Whiz-bang + Spurrit and Whiz-bang + Gobbleygourd are also good combinations, but they have slightly longer waiting times compared to Whiz-bang + Monculus.

Once a Rare Whiz-bang is obtained, breeding it with a Common Whiz-bang can make it easier to breed another Rare Whiz-bang.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Rare Whiz-bang, like all Rare Seasonals, is only available for short durations during their own season, a weekend Out-of-Season event (6 months apart) and during the Anniversary Month Celebration.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Whiz-bang:

Note: On Light Island, Whiz-bang is only obtainable for a limited time, and it may not be possible to get Rare Whiz-bang to 100% happiness.
