Description[]
Rare Tring is a Quad-Element Rare Fire Monster that is found on Fire Haven and Amber Island. It was added on January 24th, 2020 during Version 2.3.5. As a Rare Monster, it is only available at select times. It is best obtained by breeding or by purchasing from the StarShop. Its breeding combination is the same as its Common variant. By default, its breeding time is 2 days, 4 hours, and 30 minutes long. Rare Tring has excellent Coin production, only being surpassed by its Epic variant.
On Amber Island, Rare Tring can only be obtained by successfully evolving a Common Tring that is at least level 4 via the Crucible. Its successful evolution time is 2 days, 4 hours, and 30 minutes long.
Song[]
- See Tring.
Breeding[]
Rare Tring can be bred like its Common variant, using Monsters that combine to provide all the elements Air, Plant, Earth and Fire without repeating any.
The following pairs of Double-Element Monsters can be used to breed a Rare Tring:
However, the combination of a Triple-Element with Single-Element Monster has a higher rate of success:
- Of these, Barrb+Noggin is the best combination, as failing and breeding a Noggin lets you retry the combo almost instantly. Reedling+Kayna is a close second, because it has low average times in case of failure.
Breeding a Tring with a Stogg has an increased chance of getting a Tring, due to being the breeding combo for Epic Kayna, thus having a higher chance of getting Rare Tring. However, this combination may also result in an Epic Kayna if it is available.
There is also a small chance of producing a Tring or Rare Tring from a failed breeding attempt, using an Tring and a non-Single-Element Monster.
The Rare version of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the Common version. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare Tring and a Common Tring together. The outcome will always be a Tring, and if a Rare Tring is available at that time, it may result from this combination.
Availability[]
- For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability
Rare Tring, like all Rare Natural and Fire Monsters, is only available for breeding and buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:
- All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
- All Monsters with a specific element.
- All Monsters with a specific theme.
- A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters.
In particular, they are likely to appear during Special Occasions.
The exception is Rare Fire Monsters on Amber Island. These are evolved in the Crucible, and are available any time after the Crucible is unlocked (by having 15 unique Monsters on Amber Island).
Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Tring:
- Tring (requires level 9)
- Phangler (level 9) ()
- Edamimi (level 9) ()
- Tiawa (level 9) (,)
- Harpsitree (level 14) ()
- Yum Yum Tree (level 18) ()
- Cozee Cabin (level 9) (,)
See the Likes page to view a complete list of all Monsters' likes.
Note: On Amber Island, all of Rare Tring's likes are only obtainable for a limited time. Amber Vessels must be revitalized before they count towards Rare Tring's happiness.

Statistics[]
Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]
Earning rate is in Coins per minute or Relics per month (28 days) and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.
Fire Haven[]
Amber Island[]
Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

Egg Consumption[]
- Main article: Zapping
While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials can be used to "dispose of" Rare Tring eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rare Tring eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month. When being zapped into Celestials as a Flex Egg, Rare Tring is not required for the Celestial to ascend.

Notes[]
- In-game, one of Rare Tring's feet (depending on which way it is facing) was colored yellow, but red just as the common Tring. In official images and promotions, both feet are yellow. This was fixed in Update 2.3.9.
- Rare Tring was the first Rare Fire Quad element to be introduced, as well as the first Rare Quad to be added to Amber Island.
- Although noted by the Monster-Handlers that swirls found in the Monster World don’t correlate with the Psychic Element, Rare Tring appears to have the swirl and the symbol for the Faerie Element. Perhaps this eludes to its magical powers.
- Rare Tring and its Common variant were added to Amber Island on the same day. It is the first Rare Monster since Rare Theremind to be added to an Island alongside its Common form.
