To call the Rare Toe Jammer a marshmallow enthusiast would be a profound understatement. It gobbles them up at every opportunity, but thanks to a curious chemical reaction that takes place inside the Monster, they drift to its outer membrane and protrude at all angles. The Rare Toe Jammer's shifting coloration may be a product of this same internal process, but while some believe that this theory holds Water, others claim it's just a phase.
Monster Bio

Description[]

Rare Toe Jammer is a Single-Element Rare Monster. It was added on July 20th, 2015 during the 1.3.4 Rare Single-Elemental update. As a Rare Monster, it is only available at select times. When available, it is best obtained by breeding two Triple-Element Monsters that have the Water Element, or by purchasing from the StarShop. By default, its breeding time is 6 hours long. Although a Rare Monster, Rare Toe Jammer still does not have high Coin production.

See Toe Jammer.

Breeding[]

Rare Toe Jammer (when available) may result from a combination of any two Triple-Element Monsters who both share the Water Element. Monsters that may be used include:

Like all other rare Single-Element Monsters, it cannot be bred through breeding failure.

It is not advised to use Spunge and Scups on Water Island during Eggs-Travaganza, as that may result in a Blabbit. The same goes for Bowgart and T-Rox on Plant Island during Spooktacle with Punkleton. Pummel and T-Rox on Plant Island may get you a G'joob, Spunge and Bowgart on Cold Island a Strombonin, Scups and T-Rox on Air Island can breed a Yawstrich, and Pummel and Scups can breed an Anglow. It is advised to use these breeding combos to breed Rare Toe Jammer:

The Rare versions of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the common version. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare Toe Jammer and a Common Toe Jammer together. The outcome will always be a Toe Jammer.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Rare Toe Jammer, like all Rare Natural and Fire Monsters, is only available for breeding and buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:

  • All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
  • All Monsters with a specific element.
  • All Monsters with a specific theme.
  • A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters.

In particular, they are likely to appear during Special Occasions.

The exception is Rare Fire Monsters on Amber Island. These are evolved in the Crucible, and are available any time after the Crucible is unlocked (by having 15 Monsters on Amber Island).

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Toe Jammer:

Unlike most Monsters, Rare Toe Jammer does not like any decorations, only Monsters.

Egg Consumption[]

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Rare Wublins can be used to "dispose of" Rare Toe Jammer eggs immediately instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Rare Wublins; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rare Toe Jammer eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Rare Wublins have no time limit, and their egg inventories cannot be reset.

Notes[]

  • A close examination of the Monster shows that the image data for some of its toes is clipped: there are sharp edges where some of the toes go outside their virtual boxes.
  • While its Fan Kit image shows it as half orange and half green, its animation actually moves between these colors. The image shown is an in-between state.
  • When they were released on Bone Island, Rare Toe Jammer, along with its Epic Form, mistakenly had a different animation that may be an unfinished version of the Common Toe Jammer’s animation (Link). This was fixed on January 20th, 2021.
  • Rare Toe Jammer is one of the only Monsters to have heterochromia.
