Description[]

Rare Tapricorn is a Triple-Element Rare Magical Monster. It was added alongside Cruv'laaphtian Crocus, Epic Cherubble, Rare Mimic, and Rare shLep on May 14th, 2025 during version 4.8.2, though it was first made available on May 21st, 2025, during version 4.8.3. As a Rare Monster, it is only available at select times. It is best obtained by breeding, in which the combination is the same as its Common variant. By default, its breeding time is 1 day, 1 hour, and 30 minutes long. As a Rare Monster, Rare Tapricorn has a rather good Coin production.

On Magical Nexus, Rare Tapricorn is obtained by Transposing by spending 20 Diamonds () once fed to level 18. Its Transposing time is 1 day, 19 hours, 30 minutes long. Unlike Psychic Island, Rare Tapricorn does not produce Currency on Magical Nexus.

Breeding[]

Rare Tapricorn can be bred the same way as a Common Tapricorn. The following combinations are:

Any kind of breeding attempt which includes a Common Tapricorn may fail, and give a Rare Tapricorn as a result instead of the Common Tapricorn. This includes all of the breeding combinations that cannot ever work in the usual way. In particular:

+ Tapricorn and Gloptic
- (Best choice, very small chance of getting a Gloptic, can also result in a Hairionette if available)
+ Tapricorn and Toe Jammer
- (Good choice, if Toe Jammer eggs can be safely disposed of to Nursery, Wublin, Celestial, or Vessel)

The Rare variants of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the Common variant. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare Tapricorn and a Common Tapricorn together. The outcome will always be a Tapricorn and if a Rare Tapricorn is available at that time, it may result from this combination.

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]

Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.

Feeding Monsters[]

Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

Egg Consumption[]

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials can be used to "dispose of" Rare Tapricorn eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare and Epic Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rare Tapricorn eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month. When being zapped into Celestials as a Flex Egg, Rare Tapricorn is not required for the Celestial to ascend.
