The Rare T-Rox makes sounds akin to electric drums, like T-Rox. Overall, it has a bit of a less heavy, and more filtered quality than its common cousin. The lower notes play a form of snare, sounding like the snare sound from Air Island. The middle notes play another form of snare, this time sounding like the snare sound from Gold Island. The top notes produces a bass drum sound akin to Air Island.

Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.
