Rare Sneyser's feelin' hot, hot, hot! No, really - get this Rare an Ice Pack. While these sun-loving Sneyser cousins adore baking all day long in steaming heat like an endless SummerSong, all that exposure has had some chilling effects on their physiology. Charred scales like volcanic rock, crystals flickering with pure Fire, and a once-glistening geyser now brimming with broiling magma make Rare Sneyser too hot to handle - but not too hot to love!
Monster Bio

Description[]

Rare Sneyser is a Quad-Element Rare Fire Monster that is found on Fire Oasis and Amber Island. It was added on August 7th, 2020 during Version 2.4.2. As a Rare Monster, it is only available at select times. It is best obtained by breeding or by purchasing from the StarShop. Its breeding combination is the same as its Common variant. By default, its breeding time is 2 days, 4 hours, and 30 minutes long. Rare Sneyser has excellent Coin production, only being surpassed by its Epic variant.

On Amber Island, Rare Sneyser can only be obtained by successfully evolving a Common Sneyser that is at least level 4 via the Crucible. Its successful evolution time is 2 days, 4 hours, and 30 minutes long.

Breeding[]

Rare Sneyser can be bred like its Common variant, using Monsters that combine to provide all the elements Air, Water, Cold and Fire without repeating any.

The following pairs of Double-Element Monsters can be used to breed a Rare Sneyser:

However, the combination of a Triple-Element with Single-Element Monster has a higher rate of success:

Of these, Woolabee+Toe Jammer is the best combination, as failing and breeding a Toe Jammer lets you retry the combo almost instantly.

Breeding a Sneyser with a Phangler has an increased chance of getting a Sneyser, due to being the breeding combo for Epic Kayna, thus having a higher chance of getting Rare Sneyser. However, this combination may also result in an Epic Kayna if it is available.

There is also a small chance of producing a Sneyser or Rare Sneyser from a failed breeding attempt, using an Sneyser and a non-Single-Element Monster.

The Rare version of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the Common version. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare Sneyser and a Common Sneyser together.  The outcome will always be a Sneyser, and if a Rare Sneyser is available at that time, it may result from this combination.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Rare Sneyser, like all Rare Natural and Fire Monsters, is only available for breeding and buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:

  • All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
  • All Monsters with a specific element.
  • All Monsters with a specific theme.
  • A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters.

In particular, they are likely to appear during Special Occasions.

The exception is Rare Fire Monsters on Amber Island. These are evolved in the Crucible, and are available any time after the Crucible is unlocked (by having 15 unique Monsters on Amber Island).

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Sneyser:

See the Likes page to view a complete list of all Monsters' likes.

Note: On Amber Island, all of Rare Sneyser's likes are only obtainable for a limited time. Amber Vessels must be revitalized before they count towards Rare Sneyser's happiness.

Egg Consumption[]

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials can be used to "dispose of" Rare Sneyser eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rare Sneyser eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month. When being zapped into Adult Celestials as a Flex Egg, Rare Sneyser is not required for the Celestial to ascend.
