Living near a wide-open starscape has its advantages, specifically when it comes to tuning in to signals that broadcast across the Monster World. The eyeball critters that surround Psychic Island are remarkably effective relayers of DJ Epic's 'satellite channel,' which suits fellow Pomily member Rare Rooba just fine! This Magical Monster is a major 'Picsie (the DJ's fan club) and wishes it could attend every concert held in Club Box. Alas, Cruv'laapht's position in the upper atmosphere makes that a challenge, so the Rare Rooba has to settle for spacing out with homemade tie-dye, and playing along to the greatest hits with its trusty bow.
Monster Bio

Description[]

Rare Rooba is a Triple-Element Rare Magical Monster. It was added alongside Epic Clavavera and Adult Plixie on November 1st, 2023 during Version 4.1.0. As a Rare Monster, it is only available at select times. It is best obtained by breeding, in which the combination is the same as its Common variant. By default, its breeding time is 1 day, 1 hour, and 30 minutes long. As a Rare Monster, Rare Rooba has a rather good Coin production.

On Magical Nexus, Rare Rooba is obtained by Transposing by spending 20 Diamonds once fed to level 18. Its Transposing time is 1 day, 19 hours, 30 minutes long. Unlike Psychic Island, Rare Rooba does not produce currency on Magical Nexus.

Breeding[]

Rare Rooba can be bred the same way as a Common Rooba. The following combinations are:

Any kind of breeding attempt which includes a Common Rooba may fail, and give a Rare Rooba as a result instead of the Common Rooba. This includes all of the breeding combinations that cannot ever work in the usual way. In particular:

The Rare versions of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the Common version. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare Rooba and a Common Rooba together. The outcome will always be a Rooba and if a Rare Rooba is available at that time, it may result from this combination.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Rare Rooba, like all Rare Magicals are only available for breeding and buying some of the time during special events.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Rooba:

Egg Consumption[]

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials can be used to "dispose of" Rare Rooba eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rare Rooba eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month. When being zapped into Celestials as a Flex Egg, Rare Rooba is not required for the Celestial to ascend.
