Description

Rare Poppette is a Double-Element Rare Magical Monster. It was added alongside Epic Yelmut on January 8th, 2025 during version 4.6.1. As a Rare Monster, it is only available at select times. It is best obtained by breeding, in which the combination is the same as its Common variant. By default, its breeding time is 12 hours and 30 minutes long. As a Rare Monster, Rare Poppette does not have a high Coin production.

On Magical Nexus, Rare Poppette is obtained by Transposing by spending 10 Diamonds () once fed to level 18. Its Transposing time is 1 day, 6 hours, and 30 minutes long. Unlike Psychic Island, Rare Poppette does not produce Currency on Magical Nexus.

Breeding

Rare Poppette can be bred the same way as a Common Poppette. The combination is:

• + Toe Jammer and Theremind

Any kind of breeding attempt which includes a Common Poppette may fail, and give a Rare Poppette as a result instead of the Common Poppette. This includes all of the breeding combinations that cannot ever work in the usual way. In particular:

• + Poppette and Gloptic
  • (Best choice, slight chance of getting a Gloptic.)
• + Poppette and Toe Jammer
  • (Good choice, if Toe Jammer eggs can be safely disposed of to Nursery, Wublin, Celestial, or Vessel)

The Rare variants of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the Common variant. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare Poppette and a Common Poppette together. The outcome will always be a Poppette and if a Rare Poppette is available at that time, it may result from this combination.

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Poppette:

Earning Rate and Maximum Income

Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.

Feeding Monsters

Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

Egg Consumption

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials can be used to "dispose of" Rare Poppette eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare and Epic Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rare Poppette eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month. When being zapped into Celestials as a Flex Egg, Rare Poppette is not required for the Celestial to ascend.

Notes

• The first line of Rare Poppette's bio is a reference to the lyrics of "Popular" from Wicked.
• Rare Poppette was the last Rare Double-Element Monster to be added to Psychic Island.
• Rare Poppette was first teased at the bottom left corner of the 2024 "The More The Merrier" promotion.
• Rare Poppette was the first Rare Monster to be added in 2025.
• When Rare Poppette first released, there was a bug where it did not show its idle animation during Blow't's first track on Magical Nexus. This bug was later fixed.
• Upon its initial release, Rare Poppette's beta design would show in the Book of Monsters, lacking the extra pair of arms and differently-arranged bubbles. This was later changed to its current design.
• Despite what its bio says, the Rare Poppette - if you look closely - has the exact same amount of bubbles as its Common counterpart, being 13 in total.
