| “ | Rare Pixolotl bears a strong affinity for the Mech Element, syncing up with the month of its inaugural evolution. This neck-bearded newt loves immersing itself in the digital world, playing its favourite video games late into the night. Its console of choice is the Eksboks Series Eks, which it has tastefully customized with RGB light displays mimicking its own bioluminescence. | ” |

Description[]
Rare Pixolotl is a Rare Wublin exclusive to Wublin Island. It was added alongside Teeter-Tauter, Rhysmuth, Rare Clackula, and Rare Anglow on June 18th, 2024, during version 4.3.1. As a Rare Wublin, it is obtained by evolving an awakened Common Pixolotl by spending 14 Keys (
) to unlock its evolutionary potential, which then can be evolved by zapping all the required eggs of Rare Monsters into it.

Powering Up[]
Rare Pixolotl is obtained by evolving its Common variant using 14 Keys (
). Then, you will be able to fill up the Wublin again, using eggs of the Rare variants of the Common Monster. There is no time limit to fill up the inventory. Eggs can be zapped from Mirror Islands instead of, or in conjunction with Natural and Magical Islands.

Filling In[]
Like other Wublins, Rare Pixolotl can instead be filled in with Diamonds. Each egg can be filled in for 100
. Rare Pixolotl requires a total of 2,400
for all eggs to be filled.
Since all eggs have an equal Diamond fill cost, it is best to save your Diamonds for the Monsters that are harder to obtain. And oftentimes, it is cheaper to speed up eggs to zap from the Breeding Structure instead.
Wildcards may also be used when filling in a Rare Pixolotl's inventory with 1
per element of each egg. Similarly, it's best to save them for harder to obtain Monsters.
Income[]
- Main article: Wublins#Income
Rare Pixolotl, like other Rare Wublins, can produce between
48,750 and
97,500 Coins,
9,000 and
18,000 Treats, and
180 and
360 Shards. As a Rare that takes up a 2x2 grid space, Rare Pixolotl produces
3 Diamonds. Wublins generate a random type of currency every 6 to 12 hours. This rate can be increased or decreased depending on Polarity.
Currency generation is calculated separately per Monster, so up to three Rare Pixolotls will receive more currency, and have a higher chance overall to obtain valuable Diamonds. For maximizing income across your Wublin Island, see Wublin Island Grid Planning.
Currency Distribution[]
- Main article: Wublins#Currency Type Distribution
The currency for Rare Pixolotl is randomly selected from the 4 currencies it can produce. The chances to get each currency are detailed below. Datapoints are the number of recorded collections; the higher the number of datapoints, the more accurate the data is.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| TBA% | TBA% | TBA% | TBA% | TBA |
Please do not edit this table. The data is taken from the Wublins page, which is derived from a joint spreadsheet. You can share your data on its talk page. Note that only large sample sizes of data are valuable.
Polarity[]
All Wublins are affected by Polarity, a mechanic that modifies their currency rate similar to happiness for other Monsters. When a Wublin is placed near another Wublin they are positively charged towards, the time to produce currency will decrease by 25%. When placed near a Wublin they are negatively charged towards, the time to produce currency will increase by 25%. The Common variants can be used instead for Rare Wublins, but the effect will be half as strong. Additionally, the Common and Rare variants can be used instead for Epic Wublins, but the effect will be 66% and 33% as strong respectively. Rare and Epic variants can fully affect the polarity of a Common Wublin.

Notes[]
- Rare Pixolotl was the last Rare Wublin to be released in the game.
- Rare Pixolotl was the fourth and final Rare Wublin to be shown prior to its release, with the first being Rare Whajje, the second being Rare Bona-Petite, and the third being Rare Scargo.
- Each Rare Wublin's design ties into a current event in the Monster World. Rare Pixolotl's bio and design is based on the month of Mech as it references it in its bio.
- This makes it the only Rare Wublin to have its design and bio be based on the same thing as another Monster, that being Rare Blipsqueak.
- Another thing it may draw inspiration from is the seasons of Life-Formula & SkyPainting, as its color palette is much similar to that of Ethereal Island & the SkyPainting skin for Light Island.
- The "Eksboks" mentioned in its bio is a reference to the game console, Xbox, specifically the Xbox Series X.
- The shapes on Rare Pixolotl's horns and back may be a reference to the Tetronimos from the game Tetris.
- Upon its initial release, Rare Pixolotl did not display a shadow in its idle animation. This was fixed in SummerSong 2024.
- Rare Pixolotl was the only Rare Wublin to not have all of its required inventory available at once during its "State of Shock" promotion.
- This is because Rare Riff and Rare Entbrat were already featured in the "Four-midable" promotion 3 days before the "State of Shock" promotion.
