“	On the Water Mythical's home planet in the Beyond, Pinghounds occupy diverse roles in the civilization's society. As such, several "breeds" of Pinghound emerged through selective breeding, each with their own special attributes and personality. This Rare Dreamythical is specifically inspired by the 'bootle' breed of Pinghound, which itself has a long and storied history. Folklore states that the very first exemplar of the breed was dyed key-lime green in order to make it visually distinct (although this inadvertently led to some targeted fur loss). Over time, this shade of green faded in intensity, and an additional pair of legs sprouted out, distinguishing the breed further. The bootle was known to be highly intelligent and greatly prized as a 'show animal,' although it was imperative to give it lots of attention and keep it stimulated; neglected bootles tended to be quite destructive and "had a marvelous time ruining everything" if not properly cared for.	”

Description

Rare Pinghound is a Rare Dreamythical Monster that is found on Mythical Island. It was added alongside Epic Anglow and Epic Edamimi on April 2nd, 2025, during version 4.7.2, though it was first made available on April 9th, 2025. As a Rare Dreamythical Monster, it is only available during select times. When available, it is best obtained by breeding, in which the combination is the same as its Common variant. By default, its breeding time is 2 days, 4 hours, and 30 minutes long. As a Rare Dreamythical Monster, Rare Pinghound has a high Coin production.

Rare Pinghound can be bred the same way as a Common Pinghound. The combination is:

  • Can also result in an Epic Buzzinga, Rare Anglow or Rare Cataliszt if available

Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.

• The quote "had a marvellous time ruining everything" in Rare Pinghound's bio references the Taylor Swift song, The Last Great American Dynasty.
  • Rare Pinghound's key-lime green appearance is also a reference to the song's lyric "She stole his dog and dyed it key lime green", also referenced in the bio.
  • Additionally, Rare Pinghound's bio mentions the word "Folklore", a reference to the album of the same name, which is where The Last Great American Dynasty originates from.
