It's beneficial, in bustling ecosystems, to carve out a niche for oneself - and that's exactly what the Rare Krillby has done. The Monster takes full advantage of its sylvian coloration to do the exact opposite of its speedster Common cousin: move at an achingly slow pace and blend it with its surroundings. Its feet are designed not for velocity or dexterity, but for maximum noise dampening of its footfalls. Passerby will report hearing the Rare Krillby's flute-like call... but being utterly unable to spot it!

Description[]

Rare Krillby is a Quad-Element Rare Fire Monster that is found on Faerie Island and Amber Island. It was added alongside Drummidary on February 8th, 2023 during Version 3.8.2. As a Rare Quad-Element Fire Monster, it is only available at select times. On Faerie Island, it is obtained by purchasing from the StarShop using 10,000 Starpower. By default, its incubation time is 2 days, 4 hours, and 30 minutes long. As a Rare Quad-Element Monster, Rare Krillby has a very high Coin production on Faerie Island.

On Amber Island, Rare Krillby can only be obtained by successfully evolving a Common Krillby that is at least level 4, via the Crucible. Its successful evolution time is 2 days, 4 hours, and 30 minutes long.

Breeding[]

Rare Krillby cannot be bred. Instead, it must be purchased from the StarShop. On Amber Island, it must have evolved from a Common Krillby that is at least level 4, via the Crucible.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]

Earning rate is in Coins per minute or Relics per month (28 days) and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.

Though the Relic Rate and Maximum is displayed in-game as a whole number value, internally these are decimal values. Where such values have been empirically found, they are provided in the table. When collecting from Rare Krillby, you will only receive the whole number value generated.

Feeding Monsters[]

Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

  • Its design is based on a sloth.
  • Before version 4.1.1, Rare Krillby's egg was unused in-game and only seen in the fan kit. This was changed in version 4.1.1 as Rare Krillby was added to Faerie Island.
  • In Rare Krillby's fan kit image, most of the front pipe is missing.
    • It also seems to use Common Krillby's pupils.
