“ | Rare HippityHops strive to produce the purest, cleanest mouthy beats possible, without any rustling or flapping of its droopy sleeve furthers. That's why these Rare Magicals have evolved tiny serrations on the edges of their furthers that help break up the flow of air over its arms and body and reduce excess noise. They also sprout a secondary set of ears, all tipped with the same sensory organs used to navigate their underground tunnels - except these ones fold downwards, pointing at their facial discs to provide valuable acoustic feedback in performance mode. | ” |

Song[]
- See HippityHop.
Breeding[]
Rare HippityHop can be bred the same way as a Common HippityHop. The combination is:
Any kind of breeding attempt which includes a Common HippityHop may fail, and give a Rare HippityHop as a result instead of the Common HippityHop. This includes all of the breeding combinations that cannot ever work in the usual way. In particular:
- + HippityHop and Pladdie
- (Best choice, slight chance of getting a Pladdie, may result in an Epic Ffidyll if available.)
- + HippityHop and Noggin
The Rare versions of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the Common version. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare HippityHop and a Common HippityHop together. The outcome will always be a HippityHop and if a Rare HippityHop is available at that time, it may result from this combination.
Availability[]
- For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability
Rare HippityHop, like all Rare Magicals are only available for breeding and buying some of the time during special events.
Likes[]
Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare HippityHop:
- HippityHop (requires level 9)
- Shrini (level 17)
- Mount Knottshurr (level 16)
- Ambered Thing (level 22) ()

Earning rate is in Coins per minute and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's Level also increases this limit.
Feeding Monsters[]
Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

Egg Consumption[]
- Main article: Zapping
While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials can be used to "dispose of" Rare HippityHop eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rare HippityHop eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month. When being zapped into Celestials as a Flex Egg, Rare HippityHop is not required for the Celestial to ascend.
