Gloptical Illoozions are so powerful, not even Gloptic itself can resist! When a covetous Common Gloptic gazes too long at its reflection in a glassy Relic, admiring both the amber's beauty and its own, it is susceptible to an unintentional instance of auto-hypnosis. This trance-like state is so strong, it can convince even the cleverest Gloptic that the Relic and itself are one and the same, willing its gloopy body to transform into oozing amber. Rare Gloptic's sticky, resinous limbs are prone to picking up all manner of detritus over the course of its lengthy lifespan.
Monster Bio

Description[]

Rare Gloptic is a Quad-Element Rare Magical Monster. It was added alongside Rare Cataliszt, Rare Bowhead, and Epic Boo'qwurm on August 7th, 2024 during version 4.3.3, though it was first made available on August 14th, 2024. As a Rare Monster, it is only available at select times. It is best obtained by breeding, in which the combination is the same as its Common variant. By default, its breeding time is 1 day, 18 hours, and 30 minutes long. As a Rare Monster, Rare Gloptic has excellent Coin production.

On Magical Nexus, Rare Gloptic is obtained by Transposing by spending 40 Diamonds once fed to level 18. Its Transposing time is 2 days, 12 hours, and 30 minutes long. Unlike Psychic Island, Rare Gloptic does not produce currency on Magical Nexus.

Breeding[]

Rare Gloptic can be bred the same way as a Common Gloptic.

The following pairs of Double-Element Monsters that can be used to breed Rare Gloptic are:

However, the combination of a Triple-Element with a Single-Element Monster has a higher rate of success:

Of these, Rooba+Toe Jammer is the best combination, as failing and breeding a Toe Jammer lets you retry the combo almost instantly.

Any kind of breeding attempt which includes a Common Gloptic may fail, and give a Rare Gloptic as a result instead of the Common Gloptic. In particular:

Breeding a Gloptic with an Oaktopus has an increased chance of getting a Gloptic, due to being the breeding combo for Epic Kayna, thus having a higher chance of getting Rare Gloptic. However, this combination may also result in an Epic Kayna if it is available.

There is also a small chance of producing a Gloptic or Rare Gloptic from a failed breeding attempt, using a Gloptic and a non-Natural Single-Element Monster.

The Rare variants of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the Common variant. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare Gloptic and a Common Gloptic together. The outcome will always be a Gloptic and if a Rare Gloptic is available at that time, it may result from this combination.

Rare Gloptic, like all Rare Magicals are only available for breeding and buying some of the time during special events.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Gloptic:

Egg Consumption[]

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials can be used to "dispose of" Rare Gloptic eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rare Gloptic eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month. When being zapped into Celestials as a Flex Egg, Rare Gloptic is not required for the Celestial to ascend.
