Within any given gathering (or 'mersey') of G'joobs, there are always one or two Monsters that want to strike out on their own and be different. Over time, these 'solo acts' start manifesting unique traits to help them stand apart, like leopard spots and ornate horns. Most elaborate among these embellishments are no doubt the adornments on the Rare Mythical's respiratory tusks, and the wing-tipped moustache - nicknamed 'Wings' for short. Despite all these changes, some Monsters still prefer the look of the original. G'figure.

Rare G'joob is a Rare Mythical Monster that is found on Plant Island. It is the first Rare Mythical Monster to be added to the game. It was added alongside Cranchee and Amber Island Wave 8 on October 12th, 2022, during version 3.7.1. As a Rare Mythical Monster, it is only available at certain times. It is best obtained by breeding T-Rox and Pummel. By default, its breeding time is 22 hours and 30 minutes long. Rare G'joob has a decent Coin production compared to other Monsters on Plant Island.

On Mythical Island, Rare G'joob is best obtained by teleporting when reaching to level 15, or by breeding with Cataliszt and G'joob. Rare G'joob has a decent Coin production compared to other Monsters on Mythical Island.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount.   • Out of any Rare Monster, Rare G'joob has the second longest gap of time between its release date and the release date of its Common form, at 2,983 days.
  • Rare G'joob was the first Rare Monster that could be used for breeding, but couldn't be bred with its Common variant.
    • Rare G'joob was the second Rare Monster to be unable to breed with its Common form. The first was Rare Wubbox.
  • A group of G'joobs being called a 'Mersey' in its bio is a reference to the River Mersey, which runs through Liverpool, and by extension Merseybeat, the music genre popularized by the Beatles.
  • Rare G'joob's moustache being nicknamed "Wings" may be a reference to Paul McCartney and Wings (also known by its original name, Wings), formed by former Beatles member Paul McCartney, especially seeing how the nickname is capitalized.
  • The quote from its bio “G'figure.” is a reference to the expression “go figure” from Yiddish origin, which means something surprising or hard to believe.
  • The color scheme of Rare G'joob is that of the American album cover of the “Magical Mystery Tour” by the Beatles.
  • Its horns and flipper fingers are based off of some of G'joob's concept art.
