My Singing Monsters Wiki

With the discovery of Rare G'day, a long-standing debate regarding the Monster's origins and relationship to G'joob has been reignited... yet the Rare Magical's physical characteristics offer evidence that may change this debate forever! Thorough examination and modern Bubblerite dating techniques have revealed that the wood-like shells encasing Rare G'days are traced with intricate carvings harkening back to the very first days of Monster antiquity. The significance of these findings has shaken the scientific community to the core and could have a major impact on our current understanding of not only Monster World history, but also the confounding question of which of the G'brood came first: Mythical or Magical?

Breeding[]

The Rare G'day can be bred the same way as a Common G'day. The following combinations are:

Any kind of breeding attempt which includes a Common G'day may fail, and give a Rare G'day as a result instead of the Common G'day. This includes all of the breeding combinations that cannot ever work in the usual way. In particular:

The Rare variants of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the Common variant. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare G'day and a Common G'day together. The outcome will always be a G'day and if a Rare G'day is available at that time, it may result from this combination.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Rare G'day, like all Rare Magicals are only available for breeding and buying some of the time during special events.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare G'day:

Notes[]

  • Rare G'day is the first Rare Triple-Element Pure Magical Monster to be added to the game.
  • Rare G'day's toes have holes in them, similarly to Rare Fwog.
    • Coincidentally, Rare Fwog also has the same horn shape as G'joob.
  • Rare G'day's head seems to resemble a didgeridoo, the instrument that the Monster's sound originates from.
    • It was decided to be released for Crescendo Moon 2025 since Australia Day took place later on January 26th, referencing the instrument's country of origin.[1]
  • Currently, Rare G'day is the only Rare Magical Monster with more than one element that cannot be zapped into an Adult Celestial's inventory.
  • When Rare G'day first released, it was unable to be used to breed other Monsters unlike other breedable Rare Monsters. This has since been fixed.
