My Singing Monsters Wiki

Tougher than a tree trunk and sturdier than a stump, Rare Flowah can take a trimming! But don't let its scratches and scrapes fool you, this botanical bruiser isn't getting in any fights. Instead, the klutzy Monster is bumping into walls! Hopefully its new top-knot will put an end to its flouncy petals obstructing its line of sight.

Description[]

Rare Flowah is a Double-Element Rare Fire Monster. It was added on October 4th, 2019, during version 2.3.2. As a Rare Monster, it is only available at select times. When available, it is best obtained by breeding Potbelly and Kayna, or by purchasing from the StarShop. By default, its breeding time is 13 hours and 30 minutes long. Although a Rare Monster, Rare Flowah still does not have high Coin production.

On Amber Island, Rare Flowah can only be obtained by successfully evolving a Common Flowah that is at least level 4 via the Crucible. Its successful evolution time is 13 hours and 30 minutes long.

Breeding[]

Rare Flowah can be bred the same way as a regular Flowah. The combination is:

Potbelly
+
Kayna

Any kind of breeding attempt which includes a Common Flowah may fail, and give a Rare Flowah as a result instead of the Common Flowah. This includes all of the breeding combinations that can't ever work in the usual way. In particular:

Flowah
+
Tring

Flowah
+
Blow't

Flowah
+
Gloptic

(Very small chance of getting a Tring/Gloptic/Blow't, can result in Epic Gobbleygourd/Epic Mammott/Epic Toe Jammer if available.)

The Rare version of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the Common version. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare Flowah and a Common Flowah together. The outcome will always be a Flowah, and if a Rare Flowah is available at that time, it may result from this combination.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Rare Flowah, like all Rare Natural and Fire Monsters, is only available for breeding and buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:

  • All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
  • All Monsters with a specific element.
  • All Monsters with a specific theme.
  • A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters.

In particular, they are likely to appear during Seasonal Events.

The exception is Rare Fire Monsters on Amber Island. These are evolved in the Crucible, and are available any time after the Crucible is unlocked (by having 15 unique Monsters on Amber Island).

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster of the same rarity on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Flowah:

See the Likes page to view a complete list of all Monsters' likes.

Note: On Amber Island, all of Rare Flowah's likes are only obtainable for a limited time. Amber Vessels must be revitalized before they count towards Rare Flowah's happiness.

Earning Rate and Maximum Income[]

Earning rate is in Coins per minute or Relics per month (28 days) and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.

Note: Relic rates below level 4 are not possible in-game.

Egg Consumption[]

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials can be used to "dispose of" Rare Flowah eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare and Epic Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Rare Flowah

Adult Blasoom
2 eggs

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rare Flowah eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month. When being zapped into Celestials as a Flex Egg, Rare Flowah is not required for the Celestial to ascend.

Notes[]

  • Rare Flowah's eyelids appear to be flipped vertically, as whenever Flowah would normally lower its upper eyelids, Rare Flowah would raise its lower eyelids.
  • Rare Flowah is the first Rare Monster with a unique egg artwork, as all Rares and Epics after September 25th, 2019, each gained unique egg artworks.
  • Rare Flowah's petals are based on one of Flowah's concept designs.
  • Rare Flowah is currently the only Rare Fire Monster with a Costume.
