My Singing Monsters Wiki

Unlike the two minds of its distant Quibble relative, the Rare Dandidoo is only governed by a single intelligence, albeit split between two heads. If one peers closely enough, ideas and thoughts can actually be witnessed hopping between the Monster's cerulean Dandiflorets. Rare Dandidoos are said to have the most boundless imaginations in all Monsterdom... although they're particularly fixated on the idea of Ghazts in hats, for some reason.

Although a Rare Monster, Rare Dandidoo does not have a high Coin production.

Song[]

See Dandidoo.

Breeding[]

Rare Dandidoo can be bred the same way as a Common Dandidoo. The combination is:

Tweedle
+
Potbelly

Any kind of breeding attempt which includes a Common Dandidoo may fail, and give a Rare Dandidoo as a result instead of the Common Dandidoo. This includes all of the breeding combinations that can't ever work in the usual way.

The Rare version of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the Common version. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare Dandidoo and a Common Dandidoo together. The outcome will always be a Dandidoo and if a Rare Dandidoo is available at that time, it may result from this combination.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Rare Dandidoo, like all Rare Natural and Fire Monsters, is only available for breeding and buying some of the time during special events. Examples of such events:

  • All Monsters that appear on a certain Island.
  • All Monsters with a specific element.
  • All Monsters with a specific theme.
  • A seemingly random selection of a handful of Monsters.

In particular, they are likely to appear during Seasonal Events.

The exception is Rare Fire Monsters on Amber Island. These are evolved in the Crucible, and are available any time after the Crucible is unlocked (by having 15 unique Monsters on Amber Island).

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster of the same rarity on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Dandidoo:

Egg Consumption[]

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Rare Wublins and Celestials can be used to "dispose of" Rare Dandidoo eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare and Epic Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Rare Wublins and Celestials; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rare Dandidoo eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Rare Wublins have no time limit, and their egg inventories cannot be reset. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month. When being zapped into Celestials as a Flex Egg, Rare Dandidoo is not required for the Celestial to ascend.
