You may observe that the crystals on this Rare Magical's array are less clear-cut than the Common's; their growth pattern is more chaotic, as if they're overtaking the Monster bit by bit. Description

Rare Déjà-Jin is a Double-Element Rare Magical Monster. It was added alongside Epic Zuuker and Epic Tiawa on June 4th, 2025, during version 4.8.3, though it was first made available alongside Epic Tiawa on Light Island on June 11th, 2025. As a Rare Monster, it is only available at select times. It is best obtained by breeding, in which the combination is the same as its Common variant. By default, its breeding time is 1 day, 2 hours, and 30 minutes long. Although a Rare Monster, Rare Déjà-Jin still does not have high Shard production.

Breeding

Rare Déjà-Jin can be bred the same way as a Common Déjà-Jin. The combination is:

• + Theremind and Floot Fly

Any kind of breeding attempt which includes a Common Déjà-Jin may fail, and give a Rare Déjà-Jin as a result instead of the Common Déjà-Jin. This includes all of the breeding combinations that cannot ever work in the usual way. In particular:

• + Enchantling and Déjà-Jin
  • (Best choice, slight chance of getting an Enchantling.)

The Rare variants of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the Common variant. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare Déjà-Jin and a Common Déjà-Jin together. The outcome will always be a Déjà-Jin and if a Rare Déjà-Jin is available at that time, it may result from this combination.

Rare Déjà-Jin, like all Rare Magicals are only available for breeding and buying some of the time during special events.

Likes

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Déjà-Jin:

Earning Rate and Maximum Income

Earning rate is in Shards per hour and depends on Happiness % (Likes increase Happiness) and Monster Level. Each Monster also has a maximum amount of income it can hold at a time. Increasing the Monster's level also increases this limit.

Feeding Monsters

Each Monster needs to be fed four times before it reaches the next level. Increasing the Monster's level increases the Coins earned per minute, as well as the maximum Coins earned.

Egg Consumption

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials can be used to "dispose of" Rare Déjà-Jin eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare and Epic Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rare Déjà-Jin eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month. When being zapped into Celestials as a Flex Egg, Rare Déjà-Jin is not required for the Celestial to ascend.

• When Rare Déjà-Jin was first added to the game, it and Epic Tiawa were accidentally made available a week before their first availability day. This was fixed an hour later.
