My Singing Monsters Wiki

Who can fathom what the future of the Monster World may bring? According to the Rare Cahoot, it can! This Rare Magical styles itself as the Oooracle, blessed (or cursed) with the cosmic power of premonition to predict what has not yet come to pass. Monsters from across the Sanctum seek out the Rare Cahoot to hear their fortunes read out to them in the species's recognizable hooting tones. These fortunes are divined by interpreting the mysterious symbols that adorn the Oooracle's wingscape, specifically through the lens of its one cloudy eye. Before anyone gets too excited, the scope of this forecasting isn't extreme - what you'll be having for lunch tomorrow, or when you'll finally find that cherished belonging you misplaced, that kind of thing - but hey, still counts!
Monster Bio

Description[]

Rare Cahoot is a Double-Element Rare Magical Monster. It was added alongside Rare Periscorp, Epic Bisonorus, and Epic Tympa on August 6th, 2025, during version 4.8.6. As a Rare Monster, it is only available at select times. It is best obtained by breeding, in which the combination is the same as its Common variant. By default, its breeding time is 1 day, 2 hours, and 30 minutes long. Although a Rare Monster, Rare Cahoot still does not have high Shard production.

Breeding[]

Rare Cahoot can be bred the same way as a Common Cahoot. The combination is:

Theremind
+
Fluoress

Any kind of breeding attempt which includes a Common Cahoot may fail, and give a Rare Cahoot as a result instead of the Common Cahoot. This includes all of the breeding combinations that cannot ever work in the usual way. In particular:

Cahoot
+
Enchantling

(Best choice, slight chance of getting an Enchantling.)

The Rare variant of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the Common variant. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare Cahoot and a Common Cahoot together. The outcome will always be a Cahoot and if a Rare Cahoot is available at that time, it may result from this combination.

Availability[]

For a list of when this Monster has been available, see: Breeding Availability

Rare Cahoot, like all Rare Magicals are only available for breeding and buying some of the time during special events.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster of the same rarity on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Cahoot:

Egg Consumption[]

Main article: Zapping

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials can be used to "dispose of" Rare Cahoot eggs immediately, instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare and Epic Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Rare Cahoot eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month. When being zapped into Celestials as a Flex Egg, Rare Cahoot is not required for the Celestial to ascend.
