My Singing Monsters Wiki

Boodoos in general are weird, but the Rares of this species exceptionally so. It's not clear whether the third eye revealed by their tusked masks is unique to these Rarethereals, or secretly shared by all Boodoos. They turn everything they find into so-called 'Boodoo dolls,' which they delight in gifting to their reluctant cohorts. Despite their wild, flailing dance, these Monsters manage to frighten absolutely no one - except each other.

Description[]

Rare Boodoo is a Double-Element Rarethereal Monster that is found on Ethereal Island and Shadow Islet. It was added on December 9th, 2016, during version 2.0.3. As a Rare Monster, it is only available at select times. It is bred using the same combination as its Common variant, being Grumpyre and Jeeode. By default, its breeding time is 2 days, 4 hours, and 30 minutes long. As a Rare Double-Element Ethereal, Rare Boodoo has a decent Shard production, although Single-Element Ethereals are recommended.

On Shadow Islet, Rare Boodoo is obtained by Dish-Harmonizing using the Rarefied Dish-Harmonizer during special promotions. It's incubation time is 1 day and 1 hour long. As a Double-Element Rarethereal, Rare Boodoo does not have a high shard production compared to other Monsters on Shadow Islet.

Breeding[]

Rare Boodoo can be bred the same way as a Common Boodoo. The combination is:

Any kind of breeding attempt which includes a Common Boodoo may fail, and give a Rare Boodoo as a result instead of the Common Boodoo. This includes all of the breeding combinations that cannot ever work in the usual way. In particular:

(Good choice, if Single-Element Ethereal eggs can be safely disposed of to Nursery)

The Rare variants of any Monster can be used for breeding instead of the Common variant. In addition, it is possible to breed a Rare Boodoo and a Common Boodoo together. The outcome will always be a Boodoo and if a Rare Boodoo is available at that time, it may result from this combination.

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree or a Primordial Monster of the same rarity on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Rare Boodoo:
