“ | The first stage of the Quarrister's life cycle begins deep underground. Each head is a separate creature, feeding on crystals and fending for themselves. Eventually, groups of heads band together and harmonize their efforts until they physically fuse together. Every once in a while, one of the Quarrister's voices will go for a solo, but that kind of behavior is usually seen as big-headed. | ” |

Strategy[]
As with all other Quads, Quarrister is very strong with a versatile moveset, but with a lot of weaknesses. However, Quarristers are not good for battling Drumplers and T-Roxes prior to reaching level 10
Costume Choices:
- Tentacool provides Quarrister with a Water coverage, allowing it to deal strong damage to Cold-element monsters.
- Sparring Pads provides Quarrister with a Musical coverage, as it is not resisted by any monster regardless of element, but this means no monster is weak to it either. However, Quarrister, ironically, lost its Earth (
) move when equipped, so it cannot deal strong damage against Tweedles.
Notes[]
- When using "Cool Cantillation", Quarrister sings the first few notes of "In the Bleak Midwinter."
- When using "Sparring Pads", it sings the first few notes of Men Without Hats' "The Safety Dance."
- When using "Breath Support", it sings the first few notes of the main theme from the 2006 video game "Wii Sports".
- When using "Tentacool", it sings the first few notes of "He's a Pirate" from Pirates of the Caribbean.
- So far, Quarrister has the highest stamina stat of any monster eligible for the Colossingum.
- The costume "Tentacool" was added in the 3.2 update. It is comparable to Horn Warmers for Entbrat, Seaweed Wraps for Riff, and Cooler Head Prevails for Shellbeat in that it adds an elemental move that the monster does not naturally have, in this case Water. Its quest was released 9th July 2021. The song in its Battle move recalls one of the main melodies in the Pirates of the Caribbean scores, and the tentacle beard vaguely resembles that of the character Davy Jones in that film series.
- "Tentacool" is also the name of a Water/Poison-type Pokémon introduced in the series' first generation.
- It will take over a month without diamonds to train Quarrister from Level 1 to Level 20.
- Training the Quarrister from Level 19 to Level 20 costs 250,000,000 coins, making it the former most expensive transaction in the game. In total, it costs 947,936,192 coins in total to train it from Level 1 to Level 20.
- It has since been tied with Humbug in terms of total cost.
- Update 3.2.0 permanently changed the price of many costumes, including Sparring Pads, changing from 40
(discounted) and 60
(full price) to 30
(discounted) and 45
(full price).
- The SummerSong 2021 costume "Rock Pile Rags" is based on Eugene Levy's SCTV character Rockin' Mel Slirrup, host of the (fictional) dance show Mel's Rock Pile.
- The Teddy Rocks-pin costume's name is a clear reference to the 1980's children's toy Teddy Ruxpin.
