Strategy

As a Plant () Monster, Potbelly is naturally strong against and resistant to Water () Monsters and attacks, but is weak against and vulnerable to Air ().

Costume choice:

• Soils of Spore replaces Potbelly's musical move with an Earth () move, giving a counter to its weakness, Air ().
• Lichenthrope adds a new Cold () move, giving Potbelly an extra strength over Earth ().
• Infamous Mug Pot adds a new musical move, making Potbelly's base musical move completely redundant.

Notes

• The Bowl-Cuttings costume has a similar creature to the Glubber Lagoon Critter.
• The Lichenthrope and Soils of Spore costumes are based off of the Cold and Earth Elements. Lichenthrope is also possibly based off of [1]a Skin for Potbelly exclusive to Monster Choir.
• The costume Soils of Spore is based on the phrase "Spoils of War".
• When using the move Flytrap Duet, Potbelly sings the theme song from Little Shop of Horrors.
• Update 3.2.0 permanently changed the price of many costumes. Lichenthrope changed from 125 (discounted) and 187  (full price) to 35  (discounted) and 52  (full price).
