Poppette's shiny bubbles may look ready to pop, but be forewarned: this Monster is tougher than a lead balloon! No matter how hard you pinch and poke, the unpoppable Poppette will withstand your efforts. Years of constant prodding have made this once-bubbly Monster more hardened than chewed bubblegum - or bubbledrum, if you will.

Description[]

Poppette is a Double-Element Magical Monster exclusive to Psychic Island. It was added on September 25th, 2019 during Version 2.3.2. It is best obtained by breeding Toe Jammer and Theremind. By default, its breeding time is 9 hours long. As a Double-Elemental, Poppette does not have a high Coin production.

Song[]

Audio Sample:

Instrument: Dragon Dance Ensemble (tanggu/crash cymbal)

Poppette plays the sound of a tanggu, along with a tiny crash cymbal layered on top. In the concept art of Poppette, the instrument was called Dragon Dance Drums. Poppette plays its part during the verse in which Kayna and Oaktopus duet.

VSTs[]

Virtual Studio Technology is an audio plugin software that has libraries of sound effects and synthesized instruments. Within these libraries are SoundFonts, which are the individual effects and instruments themselves. The Monster-Handlers utilize several VSTs to create the sounds of instrumental and sometimes vocal Monsters.

Breeding[]

Poppette can be bred with the elements Water (Water Element) and Psychic (Psychic Element). The breeding combinations include:

Note that breeding a Double-Element Psychic Elemental is not a guaranteed success, as with all other Fire/Magical Double-Elementals.

Poppette can also be bred in a breeding failures. Some combinations that result in a Poppette in a breeding failure include:

(Good choice, very small chance of getting Gloptic)

Likes[]

Every Monster has different things that they like. For every unique object that they like that's placed near the Monster, the Monster's happiness will increase by 25%. Placing more than one of the same liked item near a Monster won't increase its happiness by an additional amount. If there's a Unity Tree on the Island, items don't need to be near the Monster. Below are the things liked by Poppette:

Monsters Who Like It[]

The following Monster(s) will increase their happiness by 25% when being placed near Poppette or when Poppette and a Unity Tree are on the Island. These may or may not also be Poppette's likes as well:

Egg Consumption[]

While trying to breed other Monsters (particularly Monsters with a very low chance of breeding), the following Celestials and Vessels can be used to "dispose of" Poppette eggs immediately instead of putting them into a Nursery and having that Nursery not be available. Note that doing this for Rare Wublins will cause the Wublin to stop producing currency and the eggs will not expire.

Note that Monster eggs can only be "disposed of" before awakening Celestials and Vessels; afterwards those Monsters will not accept any eggs. Also note that Monsters to which you have already disposed the number of Poppette eggs that it accepts, will no longer be available as a "recycle bin" for such eggs. Awakened Celestials only accept eggs during their corresponding Celestial month.

Notes[]

  • Poppette's name may potentially come from a play on "pop it," due to how its body is covered in bubbles that many monsters have attempted to pop. It could also be "pop" and the diminutive suffix "-ette". Its name is also similar to the Shopkins' Shoppie named Poppette.
  • Poppette is currently the only Double-Element Monster on Psychic Island to not have a Rare variant.
